Youth Service at Gua Musang Presbyterian Church

On the way leaving Gua Musang, the
team paid a visit to Rossi’s family
who stay near to the main road. Many
mission teams from both local and
overseas visited and stayed at their
self-build house. Though many times
men from other faith persuaded
Rossi to leave Christianity, he chose
to stand firm on his belief.

“It was upsetting to see the church
building of Teluk Untung being
abandoned due to threat and
prohibition to use it by the
authority. We can no longer hear
praises in the sanctuary which was
meant for the people to worship God

Before leaving, team prays and
gives words of encouragement to
the mothers and their children
“This was my first time to go
for missions. I was blessed
and felt sad at the same time
because of the persecution in
Gua Musang. We need to
bring this matter to others and
pray for the church so that the
church can be the light there.
Because of this trip, I can
understand Matthew 28:19
and it’s an encouragement to
me. Though I did not feel well
during the travelling, and I
had the thought of not coming
for any trip any longer
because of the rough ride. Yet,
I reached home safely. If there
is any opportunity, by God’s
grace, I can still go for
mission trips. Hallelujah.”
