The aerial photography of Laurent Wiese gives us clear pictures of why we love it here. Rock and forest,<br />
sea and inlet, lakes, mountains, and more lakes! His company, Sky Drone Aerial Photography, provides<br />
low-altitude, high-definition aerial imaging of our fantastic Coast. This is a booming business, valuable<br />
for everything from real estate and building site progress reports, to Search and Rescue, tourism, and<br />
archeology. The sky seems to be the limit!<br />
This issue’s photo is near one of the most exciting and beautiful parts of the Coast, right beside Daniel Point, a real<br />
estate hotspot of gorgeous view homes, with more being built every year. It is very near Irvines Landing, where the<br />
PODS (Pender Harbour Ocean Discovery Station) development is taking shape, with exciting plans to enhance and<br />
contribute to nature, community, and culture. Wiese says of the area, “Also be aware that there are a couple more big<br />
houses today not shown in my aerial picture taken two years ago . . . The market has gone wild.”<br />
