Motorama

experential

Motorama wants people

to stop buying cars and

start leasing them. It wants

consumers to stop thinking

about car ownership and to

embrace car ‘usership’. They

need people to know that they

can get the new car of their

dreams, without being ripped

off in car dealerships. Getting

a new car through Motorama

is different. No hard sell, just a

simple website that matches

a car to your lifestyle and

budget. We had to find a way

to get people to experience

this new way of getting a car

for themselves.

Results

We built a vending machine

that gave people a miniature

corgi car in a beautifully

branded Motorama box. The

vending machine offered

people the opportunity to

never buy a car again. The

public interacted with the

vending machine like they

would the Motorama website,

and received a toy car to

replicate the car they would

get if they used the website.

Next to the vending machine

was a 1:1 version of the

miniature toy car, a life size

corgi car. One lucky person,

24 hours after receiving their

toy car, got a life-size version

of the same, for the ultimate

unboxing.
