What better way to enjoy a Saturday night than <strong>in</strong> front of the TV with<br />
a takeway pizza on your lap?! And there’s no better pizza than a<br />
traditional, freshly-made creation. Our editor, Krissy, was delighted to<br />
be able to experience mak<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> bak<strong>in</strong>g her own concoction, courtesy of Matt<br />
<strong>and</strong> Gemma of Café Cigno <strong>in</strong> Burntwood <strong>and</strong> their new venture Pizza Kits At<br />
Home!<br />
Order<strong>in</strong>g is easy – you simply visit the Facebook page, select what you want<br />
from the menu, <strong>and</strong> your pizza mak<strong>in</strong>g kit is delivered to your door (with social<br />
distanc<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> place) <strong>in</strong> real takeaway pizza boxes, for an authentic experience!<br />
Mak<strong>in</strong>g the pizza is lots of fun <strong>and</strong> a great idea for children who want to get<br />
more <strong>in</strong>volved with bak<strong>in</strong>g! Stretch <strong>and</strong> ply your dough with your f<strong>in</strong>gers <strong>in</strong>to a<br />
delicious pizza base, <strong>and</strong> then pop it <strong>in</strong>to a hot pan <strong>and</strong> add your topp<strong>in</strong>gs. Once<br />
the base starts to turn a lovely golden brown, simply pop the pan under a hot grill<br />
to cook the top of it <strong>and</strong> melt all that delicious cheese!<br />
After it’s cooked, you can transfer it back to the takeaway box <strong>and</strong> voila! You<br />
have a fabulous, authentic takeaway pizza that you have lov<strong>in</strong>gly created yourself!<br />
Be<strong>in</strong>g a ‘meat-feast’ k<strong>in</strong>d of girl, I went for the works – crispy bacon strips,<br />
chicken, chorizo <strong>and</strong> pepperoni, along with red onions for my topp<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> it was<br />
absolute perfection. The best bit be<strong>in</strong>g that it comes pip<strong>in</strong>g hot <strong>and</strong> superbly fresh<br />
from the oven! Juicy <strong>and</strong> fresh, with a light crispy dough base, I was extremely<br />
impressed <strong>and</strong> would highly recommend this to both parents want<strong>in</strong>g to enterta<strong>in</strong><br />
the kids <strong>and</strong> adults want<strong>in</strong>g a bit of pizza-mak<strong>in</strong>g fun!<br />
