Utan Rehabilitation Centre,

their feeding times in advance
so that you can catch them
in action. Another place to
note is the Bako National Park.
Established in 1957, it is the
oldest national and smallest of
all Sarawak’s national parks,
but teeming with abundant
wildlife. It’s also home to
approximately 150 endangered
proboscis monkeys, which are
endemic to Borneo.
Head to the Kuching Waterfront
Main Bazaar as this is the best
place for soaking in the city’s
vibes and for rubbing shoulders
with the locals. Not only can
you fi nd fresh local produce
here, but also local delicacies,
handwoven tribal baskets,
rugs and delicate beaded
accessories. If you are looking
