The Bayleys Great Classics Series offers a stimulating<br />

selection of some of the best-loved and most well-known<br />

orchestral works. This year we have extended the series<br />

and will be performing five concerts at Auckland Town Hall.<br />

Christmas in Auckland is a wonderful time of<br />

year with fairy lights twinkling on the tree, the<br />

summer sun glinting on the Waitemata Harbour<br />

and the <strong>APO</strong>’s annual Yuletide celebration in<br />

Parnell’s beautiful Holy Trinity Cathedral.<br />

Music is always at the heart of any celebration<br />

and Christmas music is the most marvellous<br />
