important. It’s often the only
time you truly have to
yourself, so do something for
you. You can love your work
family, you can love your
family at home, but you’ll fall
short if you don’t love and
prioritize yourself, too.”
As someone who previously
chose to eat at my desk and
work through my lunch breaks,
I needed to hear that. Now, I
spend my “me breaks” doing
things I enjoy or using the
time to tackle things that are
easier to do without two kids
in tow. Those five hours a
week, 260 hours a year make
a tremendous difference in all
areas of my life.
