New appointments

Two appointments--one in
Houston, and one in Wallington,
N.J.--have been announced by
Hempel Coatings (USA), Inc.
Gerald Buchta, with 15 years of experience
in the coatings industry, has
been named a Hempel representative
in Houston, according to George
Seith, regional manager. Buchta was
formerly a regional manager with
Sigma Coatings, Inc.
Robert Cory has been appointed
regional manager for Hempel’s northeast
region, headquartered in
Wallington, N.J. Cory was a regional
manager for Porter Coatings and prior
to that, vice president of Rowe
Products Co., Niagara Falls, N.Y. His
appointment was announced by G.P.
Mitchell, executive vice president,
Hempel Coatings.
