Exxon Chemical presents distribution awards
Exxon Chemical Americas has honored
seven companies--including a
Houston-based firm--for excellence
in distribution.
Alamo Barge Lines of Houston received
one of Exxon’s Outstanding
Distribution Service Suppliers awards
in the marine and inland category.
Alamo was purchased by Hollywood
Marine at the end of 1985.
Other awards recipients and their
categories included Overseas Enterprises,
Inc., marine and ocean division;
KCS-L&A Railways, rail; International-Matex
Tank Terminals,
Bayonne, tank terminals; Linden Bulk
Transportation Co., bulk truck; Dart
Transit Co., package truck; and The
Wilson Group in the warehouse category.
Exxon Chemical has presented the
awards for eight years to honor distributors
for consistent and prompt
service, regulatory and administrative
compliance, safety performance and
emergency response capabilities.
