CFMoto has released two new all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), the
CForce 625 EPS and 625 EPS Touring edition, which its local
distributor says will be ideal for Australian farmers.
In line with commitments announced earlier this year, the
company says both models will be sold in compliance with
forthcoming Australian safety standards – including the
necessary decals, hang tags and rollover protection device,
manufactured by Quadbar.
With new styling, new LED lights and a stronger chassis, the
new models showcase CFMoto’s ability to build world-class
ATVs, Australian distributor Michael Poynton says.
“The new CForce 625 EPS and 625 EPS Touring models are sure
to be well received amongst Aussie farmers,” he says.
“Both are incredibly well constructed and ready to tackle our
harsh working conditions.”
The CForce 625 EPS is a short wheelbase quad bike available
in Silver and the CForce 625 EPS Touring is a longer wheelbase
version to accommodate two people.
The Touring model also offers a few more features over the
short wheelbase model, including a backrest with grab handles
for the passenger seat, a new camouflage colour scheme
and new 12-inch (30.5cm) black alloy wheels, all for a $500
difference in the purchase price.
Among a series of improvements made to the models are
a newly designed dual A-arm suspension for better ride
performance and all new four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes.
The swing arm point locations have been moved to improve
the dual A-arm suspension movement, which CFMoto says has
vastly improved the turning circle on both models, for greater
manoeuvrability around the farm.
Both models are powered by a 580cc, single cylinder, liquid
cooled, Bosch EFI, four-stroke engine that produces 40
horsepower (29.4kW), with high and low range, switchable
2WD/4WD drive modes and front differential lock available
for rugged environments and easily accessed by the touch
of a button.
The models are equipped with four-wheel hydraulic disc
brakes with an added combined braking system for safer
stopping power.
Additional highlights include fresh new modern exterior
design with bright LED lights, new heavy-duty carrier racks with
integrated quick release service covers, large digital dashboard
with even mobile phone Bluetooth connectivity.
All CFMoto ATVs are backed by a two year warranty and
supported by a national dealer network of over 80 outlets.
Trelleborg’s TM1000
Progressive Traction tyres
bring more power and less
soil compaction to
the ground
Traction tyres offer more traction and less
soil compaction, its manufacturer says
Tyre manufacturer Trelleborg has released its TM1000
Progressive Traction farm tyre in a new size, matching the
newly-released Massey Ferguson 8S tractor.
The MF 8S can fit rear tyres up to 2.05m in diameter,
including the brand-new option of VF650/75 R42 Trelleborg
TM1000 PT, Massey Ferguson says, with VF 600/70 R30 tyres
suited to the front.
Speaking at the product launch, Agco’s director of marketing
for Europe and the Middle East, Asia and Africa Francesco
Munro lauded the arrival of the new product.
“Our new 2.05m tyre offering from our Trelleborg partners,
the TM 1000 Progressive Traction, (offers) more comfort, more
traction, less soil compaction,” he says.
The company had also supplied tyres to the MF Next Concept
tractor, a precursor to the MF 8S, displayed at agricultural trade
fair Agritechnica in 2019.
Trelleborg added its Progressive Traction technology to its
flagship TM1000 tyre last year, saying the design will release
additional power to the ground and make tractors better on
the road.
Trelleborg global research and design director for agricultural
tyres Piero Mancinelli says the system can do this while
reducing soil compaction at the same time.
“We have taken the decision to upgrade the tyre line to VF
technology, enabling a higher load capacity of up to 40 per cent
when compared to a standard tyre, or up to 40 per cent lower
pressure on the field, reducing soil compaction,” he says.
“The special double-edged tread design was engineered
to decrease the tread vibration contributing to lower energy
dissipation, minimising fuel consumption while extending the
life span.”
The tyres were also recognised as “Best Agricultural Tyre” at
the Hevea Tire Industry Awards 2019, held in January this year in
Spain, winning with 38.2 per cent of all votes cast.
