This provides the assurance thatthey have completed a comprehensive ‘A’ ratedinstallation rather than just supplying an ‘A’ ratedwindow. This is a benefit that can be sold on todeliver enhanced energy efficiency advantages forcustomers and property owners.Improving energy efficiencyThere’s no question companies in the fenestrationsector can still do more to improve overall energyefficiency and sealing tapes are one effective waythat this can be achieved.These multi-purpose tapes enable installers andhome improvement specialists to quickly andeasily seal windows from inside the buildingduring construction, avoiding the need forexpensive access systems and delivering costsavings that can be passed on to consumersalong with high quality installationsMoreover, because the foam sealant can be usedin the wet, window installations can be undertakenregardless of external weather conditions, avoidingtime consuming and costly delays.While it’s clear that the coming months will bechallenging, window and door installers canlook ahead with much optimism. Markets willinevitably return, creating strong competition forbusiness.
