deadly virus while giving quality educations to

our learners; compared with previous school

year that school beautification and physical

facilities are the main focus. To embrace this

new normal, we encouraged LGUs, NGOs,

private sectors and private individuals to donate

cleaning tools, disinfectants, facemasks, face

shield, sanitizing equipment, multivitamins etc.

An inspiring quote according to Winston S.

Churchill, “We make a living by what we get.

We make a life by what we give.” MVES faculty

contributed to give simple help to Barangay

Mt. View front liners and families in needs.

Some teacher representatives together with

the school principal delivered the goods and

it was received by Barangay Captain, Leoncio

Lungcay, last April 16, 2020.

Sharing is caring. Salute to all our ever

supportive MVES parents, teachers, teachers’

families and friends who gave their efforts to

sew and make personalized facemasks and face

shield; and donated some financial support,

disinfectants and cleaning materials. From April

to August 2020, their eagerness to help and

share are inevitable.

Last June 16, 2020, another good heart

from Department of Agriculture, Mr. Rolando

Z. Almario Jr., High Value Crops Development

Program Coordinator, donated some seeds

that may support sustainable development in

this COVID situation.

MVES family is very grateful to Maritime

Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) and

Rotaract Club of Mariveles Freeport for donating

two foot pressed alcohol disinfectants, reams of

bond papers, facemasks and cleaning materials

dated July 15 and July 17, 2020.

Big thanks and salute to those barangay and

local government officials for never ending

support to Mt. View Elementary School. An

American civil rights and women’s rights

activist once said, “Without community service,

we would not have a strong quality of life. It’s

important to the person who serves as well as

the recipient. It’s the way in which we ourselves

grow and develop.”
