COVID-19 RESPONSE
OF MT.VIEW ES DURING BRIGADA ESKWELA
Due to the disruptions brought about by the COVID-19 crisis in the country, the Department
of Education (DepEd) has reconfigured the conducting annual activities of Brigada Eskwela(BE)
and Oplan Balik
Eskwela(OBE) as
stated in DepEd
memorandum no.
53 s.2020 to fully
assist the preparation
of stakeholders in
addressing problems,
queries, and other
concerns for the
coming school year(SY)
2020-2021.

With theme
“Pagpapanatili ng
Bayanihan Tungo sa
Kalidad na Edukasyon
para sa Kabataan.”the
joint conduct of BE
and OBE will be
undertaken from june
1 to august 29,2020.
This year’s BE and
OBE will also feature
the slogan “Bayanihan
sa Paaralan.” Which
aims to promote
sustainable and
safe living through
the “application
of knowledge and
convergence of
efforts to address
the required health
standards and social
issues at home,in
school, and in the
community in the
context of COVID-19.
As a response to
the public health
emergency, schools
should be prepared
for local and
community-wide
infectious disease
outbreaks. While it
is difficult to predict
when(or even if)
COVID-19 will rise
to the level of a
pandemic, there are
actions schools can
take to be ready for
such events.
That is why Mt. View
Elementary School
work collaboratively
with the Local
Government Unit
(LGUs) and other
non-government
organizations and
volunteers to raise
the availability of
various items such
as thermal scanners,
cleaning tools, hand
sanitizing materials,
face masks, multivitamins
for learners
and DepEd personnel,
and information
