This year’s “Brigada”
would play a significant
role to allow schools
to meet the demands
of multiple learning
delivery modalities.
Society Organizations; Private Corporations
Individual Volunteers. They are encouraged to
unite stakeholders for the commencement of
the Kick-off program of Brigada Eskwela. Far
from the usual donations of paints, cement,
paint brushes, plyboards etc. it has turned to a
new Stakeholders play a big role in achieving
the goals post by Brigada Eskwela to support the
development by contributing essential health
items like thermal scanners; hand sanitizing
equipment or products; and printing COVID-19
and sanitation / proper hand washing hygiene
information materials to help BE and OBE
introduce learners and teachers with safety and
health protocols.
This year’s “Brigada” would “play a significant
role to allow schools to meet the demands of
multiple learning delivery modalities.” School
heads were also asked to collaborate with local
government units ( LGUs) and other NGOs and
volunteers in cleaning and disinfecting school
buildings, classrooms and other school facilities.
Now that face to face lessons are not
recommended, various delivery modalities were
expected to be utilized by teachers to ensure
continuous learning of pupils/ students in every
school. Brigada Eskwela also involve partners in
supporting and offering learning opportunities
such as local radio and television stations and
other accessible media, as well as the printing of
self-learning modules for distance learning as a
means of collaboration to implement the basic
education curriculum at COVID-19.
It is believed that with the new set-up on
Brigada Eskwela, it is expected to reinforce
collaboration among schools “to engage
agencies, organizations and other stakeholders,
particularly at this critical period, in contributing
to education needs.”
