is very small but plentiful. There is also that period of extreme weather when
heavy heat permeates the area you fish. This condition is easily detected by the fact
you too are affected in a negative way by the weather. Simply put – you are just too
hot and uncomfortable when fishing.
Remember this Ol' Man saying, "think like a fish," – if you don't feel good about
fishing, the fish may be in the same mood.
However, the general rule of thumb is the 'Big Bait = Big Fish' theory will be
correct eight times out of ten.
Get out the heavy gear and give it a whirl. BUT,
take along some lite gear to have some fun!
