HEARTLAND FOUNDATION’S “EVENING OF DREAMS”
TAKES ON THE MOB
Those attending the Heartland Community College
Foundation’s signature Evening of Dreams event were
challenged to outwit and outsmart “the mob” at the
College’s annual fundraiser at the Bloomington Center
for Performing Arts.
The gala featured silent and live auction items, as well
as prizes that included an overnight stay in Galena
courtesy of the Bloomington-Normal Area Convention
and Visitors Bureau, a “Pandora Gift Pack” from Jack
Lewis Fine Jewelry in Bloomington, and two round-trip
airfare tickets to anywhere in the continental United
States courtesy of Suzi Davis Travel in Bloomington.
Other items up for bid at Heartland’s 2009 Evening of
Dreams included tickets to a variety of sporting events,
entertainment and community packages donated by
local businesses and individual Heartland supporters.

In Fiscal Year 2010, Heartland’s
Foundation awarded 73 scholarships
totaling more than $140,000.
