Community Planner
The Rutland Regional Planning Commission (RRPC) is an accomplished
and award-winning regional planning and economic development
organization with a talented staff and supportive Board of Directors,
serving 27 Rutland Region towns. Regional Planning Commissions
are political subdivisions of the State of Vermont, created by member
municipalities. They serve as the go-to resource for towns and the link
between municipal affairs and state government.
We are seeking an energetic and outgoing community planner to join
our growing team. The full or part-time position will focus on town and
economic development planning and project management of federal and
state-aid municipal projects throughout the Rutland Region. Candidates
must be self-starters that can work both independently and collaboratively,
with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A degree and experience in land use planning, business, public
administration, environmental studies or a related field is preferred.
Starting salary is competitive, accompanied by an outstanding benefits
