cleaners are contaminated with mercury so that they release mercury vapours<br />
in the weeks and months after the accident. Pieces from the broken lamp and<br />
various collection tools should be placed in a closed container, e.g. a canning<br />
jar, to avoid spreading of mercury vapours. After removal of residues the<br />
contaminated area should be cleaned.<br />
