Aussie music royalty, Guy Sebastian<br />
will join some of the<br />
country’s biggest stars for an<br />
online ‘Carols from <strong>Parra</strong>matta’<br />
concert on <strong>December</strong> 18.<br />
Hosted by Guy and his wife Jules, the concert<br />
will feature an all-star lineup including<br />
Human Nature, Chris Sebastian, Samantha<br />
Jade, Johnny Manuel, Sam Moran, Mark<br />
Vincent, Chynna Taylor and Mark Furze.<br />
The streamed concert will commence<br />
from 7pm and is presented by The Sebastian<br />
Foundation, in partnership with the<br />
City of <strong>Parra</strong>matta Council and supported<br />
by Disney+.<br />
<strong>Parra</strong>matta Lord Mayor Bob Dwyer said<br />
the concert would bring great joy to the region<br />
after a difficult year.<br />
“It’s incredible to see some of the finest<br />
voices in Australia bringing much needed<br />
Christmas cheer into homes across the<br />
country,” he said.<br />
“Council is proud to support this wonderful<br />
cause, particularly at the end of such a<br />
difficult year.”<br />
Whilst the concert is free, viewers are encouraged<br />
to make a donation to The Sebastian<br />
Foundation.<br />
The charity, founded by Guy in 2013 assists<br />
those who have experienced domestic<br />
violence or mental health issues.<br />
Guy said the donations would be put<br />
towards vital programs run by the<br />
foundation.<br />
“We can’t wait to bring together<br />
some of the finest artists in Australia<br />
for a fun evening of carols<br />
while also raising money for<br />
programs that will really make<br />
a difference to the mental<br />
health of adolescents,” he<br />
said.<br />
“We hope that everyone<br />
can join us from their<br />
homes and give a few dollars<br />
to help someone who<br />
has been doing it particularly<br />
tough this year.”<br />
The City of <strong>Parra</strong>matta<br />
has hosted The Sebastian<br />
Foundation’s<br />
annual ‘Christmas<br />
Carols in The Crescent’<br />
at <strong>Parra</strong>mata Park<br />
since 2018.<br />
Due to COVID-19<br />
restrictions this had to<br />
be moved to online this<br />
year.<br />
