Warrior for a Weekend

a group of top executives.

BRIEF: On this experience our guests have been paired off with

CIA, DELTA Force, RECON, and US Navy SEAL Team Six

officers. During this intense program, they have been pushed

through a vigorous onsite training to include all the basics of elite

special forces training such as skydiving and take part in

weapons training, hand to hand combat, offensive and defensive

driving, tracking, surveillance, as well as nighttime mission

execution. Each level brought them further into the realm of the

world’s most elite special forces.


Escape From Paradise

Game

BRIEF: GR8 has created the most authentic and exciting Escape

Game!

Our guests skydived into a deserted island with a map and

professional military gear provided by our elite special forces. In

preparation for the jump, they have been trained with the elite

special forces teams as they instructed them on advanced

survival skills.

Once on the deserted island, they had three days to find their way

off to safety. But beware, our brave guests encountered many

obstacles, and not everyone succeeded!

Thanks to our partnership with the Italian Navy, GR8 has created

the unique opportunity to be invited for a once in a lifetime

experience on board a real Fighter Jet. We then decided to take it

to the limits and have our clients experience landing and taking

off an aircraft carrier in the open waters. Certainly an experience

to remember!


Millemiglia:

The Most Beautiful Race in The World

OBJECTIVE: Attending one of the most famous classic car races in the

world

BRIEF: Millemiglia has combined tradition with innovation and

amalgamation with creativity, elegance, beautiful scenery and the Italian

way of living. Participation is limited to cars produced no later than 1957

and this, along with the historical territory of Italy, brings the dreaming

attendees back in time in a matter of an eye blink. This is a 1,000 Miles

Millemiglia classic car race starting from Brescia all the way to Rome

and than back to Brescia where it started. Our guests had the unique

opportunity to take part in this race behind the wheel of a splendid Alfa

Romeo classic model and fully assisted by Alfa Romeo mechanics

throughout the entire race.


Inside the F1 World

OBJECTIVE: Getting to experience the F1 from the inside and spend

time with the Ferrari team, while visiting a unique destination.

BRIEF: Our clients enjoyed on the most spectacular races of the year

from a fabulous yacht and the comfort that it offered. Other benefits

included a special guest appearance by retired Australian F1 driver Mark

Webber, who won 9 races with Red Bull, a guided behind the scenes tour

of the Ferrari box, where they got to meet the mechanics who taught them

about the top notch F1 cars technology. Last but not least, they ended the

hesitating weekend by attending the concert headlined by rock band The

Killers and rapper Travis Scott.

OBJECTIVE: A once in a lifetime experience with Hans

Zimmer, gifted by a father to his musically talented daughter; to

celebrate her sixteenth birthday.

BRIEF: Private recording session and meet and greet

opportunity with Hans Zimmer, internationally acclaimed film

score composer. The daughter was able to record her own “track”

under the guidance of this musical genius.

BRIEF: Private experience at the inaccessible Osteria Francescana by

Massimo Bottura, a private dinner was organized at closed doors with a

dedicated tasting menu followed by a meet & greet with the number one

Chef in the World. VIP private Wine Experience & visit at Antinori iconic

cellars followed by an epicurean experience at 1 Michelin Starred restaurant

Osteria di Passignano with special viewing of the last supper inside the

Passignano Abbey (1000 years old). Brunello di Montalcino “wine maker for

a day” experience hosted by worldwide expert Roberto Cipresso, clients

learned the secrets to bland and create a top rated wine, once divided into

groups they all created their personal bland and compiled to be elected the

“wine maker of the day”. The final step of the pre cruise was an incredible

Private Vatican Experience with special opening of the Museums and the

private dining experience at Mirazur, located in Menton.

BRIEF: This unforgettable culinary experience at triple Michelin

starred restaurant Mirazur (voted best restaurant in the world in

2019) began with a guided private visit inside Chef Colagreco’s

personal vegetable garden in Menton where we tasted his

handpicked herbs, plants, fruits and vegetables followed by a

culinary demonstration led by the chef in the restaurant. Afterwards

we continued with a glass of chilled champagne on the terrace

before sitting down to a four course gastronomic lunch in the

privatized restaurant.

BRIEF: Bordeaux is an irresistible gift of world revered wines,

beautiful chateaux, gastronomic cuisine and fascinating prehistoric

sites. Our Guests visited the most prestigious wineries such as

Chateau Petrus, Chateau d’Yquem, Chateau Pavie, Chateau Lafitte,

Chateau Latour and Chatueau Rotschild. Here they tasted the most

delicious vintages and discovered breathtakingly beautiful locations.

This oenological journey was topped off by a unique dining

experience at Le Quatrieme Mur; run by Chef Philippe Etchebest;

the Gordon Ramsay of France.


Gems of Barcelona

BRIEF: This exciting experience started with a semi-private guided tour

to Sagrada Familia, considered the architect Antonio Gaudi’s most

we offered the incredible opportunity of joining an exclusive after hours

opening of Picasso Museum exclusively for our group followed by a gala

dinner in one of the suggestive areas of the Museum. The local culinary

scene has exploded over the years is now known worldwide. In the tradition

visit of the Lourve and Versailles, then a dining experience at Jules

Vernes, three Michelin star restaunt located at the top of the Eiffel

Tower.

We also fed our culinary spirit with a private masterclass with worldrenowned

pastry chef Cedric Grolet, a private experience with Alain

Passard at his restaurant Arpege, voted 7 th best restaurant in the world

in 2019 and topped it off with a cooking class at the prestigious

Escoffier Culinary school located in the Ritz Paris.

During the same experience we also opened the most exclusive and

best ever preserved catacombs under special hosting and permission

of the Vatican authorities, hosted a private dinner at the Coffee

House inside Palazzo Colonna as personal guests of Prince Colonna

and last but not least organized a private cooking class at Palazzo

Taverna with special hosting of Marquise Taverna in the role of

cooking master.


London Royal Experience

BRIEF: Experience the Tower of London with a private after hours visit,

greeted by a Beefeater for a guided visit of this fascinating historical palace

with a private viewing of the Crown Jewels, the most valuable jewels in the

world. The evening continued with a banquet in the White Tower,

accompanied by entertainment in period costume.

The following day we stepped into the sumptuous world of Downton

Abbey; the ultimate treat for everyone keen to experience an authentic day

amongst British aristocracy. The experience was topped by with a

fabulous lunch and a private buy out of Gordon Ramsay’s 3 Michelin

starred London restaurant, as well as before hours visit to Harrods, the

world’s most famous department store with special access to the

historic vaults and a enjoyed a private after hours visit of the Windsor

Castle apartments.

as playing 18 holes at one of the golf courses that are affiliated to

The Rafael Nadal Experience

OBJECTIVE: Create a bucket list experience for a Rafael Nadal fan

BRIEF: This is the ultimate experience for any tennis aficionado: our

clients became part of Nadal’s team and got to shadow him for two

tournaments, as well as visiting him in his hometown in Mallorca.

The program started in Indian Wells where our clients got to spend time

with Rafa and his team, attended his practice sessions, cheered him right

from his box during his matches. This journey continued in Paris, where

our clients witness history being made as Rafa won his 12 th RG title.

During the stay in Paris they also got to hit with Carlos Moya, tennis

legend and Rafa’s coach. The last destination was Mallorca, where our

group was guided through the behind the scenes of the Rafael Nadal

Academy and had the opportunity to hit with the legend himself . Last but

not least, being our client the CEO of a world renowned toy company,

GR8 has organized a toy giveaway to underprivileged kids supported by

the Rafael Nadal Foundation.

former Grand Slam Winner? Mara has challenged Serena Williams at the

Australian Open, won the Feder Cup and Roland Garros in doubles, among

her other stellar professional achievements and thanks to the recent addition

to the GR8 team, our clients had the chance to attend the French Open and

see the world's greatest champions from a unique perspective. Mara

welcomed them to join her in the prestigious areas known only to players for

an exclusive behind the scenes experience. By interacting with our stellar

host, they learnt fascinating anecdotes about the top players that made the

whole experience memorable and last but not least, they had the opportunity

Soccer Legend for a Day

our guests became football stars for the day, starting with the

official football club bus picking them up from their 5 star

accommodation. From there, they have been taken to the players

locker room where personalized kits were awaiting each player.

The game have been officiated by an official Barcelona referee,

commentated and filmed just like a real game. After the match, a

private dinner hosted by one of the most renowned chefs in the

world took place in the Stadium Museum.


Giorgio Rocca World Cup Challenge

BRIEF: Have you ever wished to challenge your friends in a real World Cup

Alpine Ski Race?

Thanks to GR8’s partnership with Giorgio Rocca, Italian former alpine skier,

slalom specialist and among other accolades he was the winner of the Slalom

World Cup in 2006, he won three World Championships medals and had 11

World Cup victories.

Out guests started with a full day private training on the slopes hosted by

Giorgio who personally evaluate all guests to prepare a personalized racing

program. On the next day they continued with a real private racing/practice

session to improve their skills and performance. At this point they were

ready for racing day and compete for the podium, which was hosted by the

one oand only Giorgio Rocca. Last but not least, they jumped on a car and

felt the thrill of drifting on snow and ice in a Livigno’s ice drome.


Super Bowl Experience

BRIEF: Inside the Frank Gehry designed New World Center, the

masterpieces of chefs Massimo Bottura, Mauro Colagreco, Alex Atala, and

Antonio Bachour were presented during the opening of Miami Art Week to

an elite group of 300 connoisseurs at the Once Upon a Kitchen dinner - an

extraordinary, seven-course, wine-paired epicurean extravaganza. The

interactive evening redefined the concept of fine dining with a series of

immersive culinary experiences, and was entwined with a unique call-toaction

as all four chefs leveraged their internationally renowned mastery to

highlight important social and environmental causes - including rising sea

levels. With a stunning program orchestrated by Cirque of Life, each dish

was a jaw-dropping take on the traditional – amplified by multisensory

elements, including vibrant video vignettes, booming sound effects, earthy

scents, mood lighting, and live narrations by actor Jacopo Rampini.

CHEF MAURO COLAGRECO - whose restaurant, Mirazur, in Menton,

France, earned the No. 1 spot on the 2019 “World’s 50 Best” list -- created

the first course, a “Stone Crab, Citrus Jelly.” The dish, which immediately

began trending across social media channels, was presented on a plate

spattered with single-use plastics (including actual bottle caps and Q-tips),

underscoring the jarring reality that plastics are not only polluting our

oceans, but are also now being found in our foods.

CHEF ALEX ATALA - whose restaurant, D.O.M., in São Paulo, Brazil,

was rated the fourth-best in the world in 2012 and was a recent star of

Netflix’s “Chef’s Table” -- fashioned one of his two courses, “Sweet

Potato, Hierba Mate Bernaise and Toasted Herbs from the Forest,” around

the fire-ravaged Amazon rainforest in his home country.

Gripping video of the inferno, set to heavy metal rock music, played just

before the dish was presented to guests – once again emphasizing the

devastation of climate change and deforestation.


Once Upon a Kitchen

CHEF MASSIMO BOTTURA - one of TIME magazine’s “most

influential people of 2019,” and whose restaurant, Osteria

Francescana, in Modena, Italy, topped the “World’s 50 Best”

rankings in 2018 after previously being named No. 1 in 2016 -- was

joined on stage throughout the night by his fellow chefs for

demonstrations and explanations about the origins of the dishes.

Bottura has been participating in Once Upon a Kitchen since its

inception in 2016. His not-for-profit cultural organization, Food for

Soul, which was created by him and his wife, Lara Gilmore, was the

charitable partner of this year’s event. Throughout the night, Bottura

put an added emphasis on creating and sustaining community

kitchens worldwide and feeding people in great need. He served two

of his most iconic dishes: “Caesar Salad in Bloom” (adorned with

colorful blossoms) and the widely lauded “Modenese Tortellini with

Parmigiano Reggiano,” complete with 36-month-aged Parmigiano

Reggiano and shavings of Angelozzi white truffle from the Sibillini

Apennine Mountains.


Once Upon a Kitchen

To conclude the festivities, pastry CHEF ANTONIO BACHOUR - who

was recently named by ESQUIRE magazine as the best pastry chef in the

U.S., as well as “best pastry chef in the world” at “The Best Chef

Awards 2018” - crafted a “Gianuja Chocolate Mousse” along with petit

fours. Bachour worked with Valrhona Chocolate for each dessert and

highlighted efforts being conducted in the Dominican Republic by the

revered chocolate-maker to establish schools in the cacao fields there

and further the education of young farmworkers.

Once Upon a Kitchen was endorsed by Forbes Travel Guide -- the

only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants

and spas -- and the Fine Dining Chapter of YPO, the premier global

leadership organization. In addition to having W South Beach as

its hotel partner, and sponsors including Ca' del Bosco, Chateau

D'Yquem, Inedit Damm, La Prima, Lavazza, Rolls-Royce Miami,

S. Pellegrino, Valrhona, and Vista Alegre, the dinner was aligned with

the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority.
