LGBT+ History Month

The month of February celebrates
LGBT+ History Month and this
year’s theme is ‘Body, Mind, Spirit’.
This is linked to PSHE, for the
second time.
WHY LGBT+ HISTORY MONTH?
LGBT+ History Month was founded
in the UK by Schools Out UK and first
took place in February 2005. The
main aim is to increase awareness of
LGBT people and history as well as
highlighting and tackling the prejudice
LGBT people face.
WHAT RESOURCES ARE THERE?
There are a number of resources,
games, informative talks etc available
