Report dated June 3, 2011, from Wendy Nordin, Manager of Policy Initiatives, regarding Corporate Policy Review The Manager of Policy Initiatives came to Centre Table and responded to questions from Council. Moved by Councillor Frizzell, seconded by Councillor Bassermann, that the report regarding Corporate Policy Review, BE RECEIVED. DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE SERVICES Carried Unanimously G4. Report dated June 3, 2011, from Rae-Ann Emery, Manager of Human Resources, regarding Policy Revisions Moved by Councillor Green, seconded by Councillor Stolz, that the report regarding Policy Revisions, BE RECEIVED. Carried Unanimously Moved by Councillor Frizzell, seconded by Councillor Stolz, that: 1. the policies attached to the report as Appendix “A”, BE RESCINDED; 2. the Workplace Conduct Policy attached to the report, BE APPROVED; 3. the Workplace Wellness Policy attached to the report, BE APPROVED;

Report dated May 20, 2011, from Myles Tycholis, Manager of Events and Civic Centre, regarding Rick Hansen 25 th Anniversary Relay and End of Day Celebration Letter of Agreement Moved by Councillor Green, seconded by Councillor Frizzell, that the report regarding Rick Hansen 25 th Anniversary Relay and End of the Day Celebration Letter of Agreement, BE RECEIVED. Carried Unanimously Moved by Councillor Green, seconded by Councillor Munoz, that Council receive and authorize signing the Letter of Agreement for the Rick Hansen 25 th Anniversary Relay and End of Day Celebration. Carried Unanimously G6. Report dated June 7, 2011, from Colleen Van Mook, Director of Community Services, regarding Stand Alone Arena Facility Comparison to 2015 Canada Winter Games Capital Plan (& Handout) Moved by Councillor Munoz, seconded by Councillor Green, that the report regarding Stand Alone Arena Facility Comparison to 2015 Canada Winter Games Capital Plan, BE RECEIVED. Carried Unanimously Ian McKay, PBK Architects, was in attendance and came to Centre Table. Mr. McKay advised that he was hired to assist with the 2015 Canada Winter Games bid in 2009 for a renovation of the Kin Centre, and now has been asked to provide this comparison information on a stand alone arena facility and the Kin Centre renovation. Mr. McKay provided an overview of what each of the construction
