A light of hope

A long time ago the world and specially in United States changed in a very big way,
technological and pharmaceutical advances reached a very high point where they
could cure diseases and try to solve any problem that arose in the world, all
countries reached full peace and Society became very advanced and as everything
was increasing, it also increased the dangers such as viruses and other types of
diseases, one of those was a totally deadly virus that they found on an island in
Australia capable of consuming the organs in a matter of hours.
The habitants of that island had been victims of this disease, which the scientists
were very overwhelmed because they had never dealt with anything like it. With
their great technological advances, they were able to find a cure, it took them 5
years to do it due to the lethality of the disease. They thought they had succeeded
but it was the opposite, after a couple of days the people who had contracted the
disease were given that cure as soon as possible within a period of 1 minute from
its infection. The cure seemed to work, but after a couple of days everything was
worse ...
John Thomson, a scientist and ex-army combatant, was very concerned about
the reaction of the person to the cure because he had suffered certain
transformations in the body, also his friend Charles Johnson noticed it and they
thought that they only gave him a type of incentive or intelligence to the cure.

any animal, it broke the specialized cage where they had locked it, killing and
converting through touch. to all the people who were in that place in many more
Terramorph, John, Charles and other colleagues managed to escape immediately,
leaving behind the devastation by the Terramorph, arrived at a very safe
headquarters, they were notified that those creatures had arrived to the cities
where they were killing all the people, the army spoke out against that and with
their highly advanced weapons they started fire on those beasts ...
For 5 years there was a constant war between the two sides, where the
Terramorph killed almost 80% of the population, the governments had no choice,
but to drop atomic bombs, almost completely exterminating the threat and
themselves.
After 10 more years the world returned in technology from the first industrial
revolution where now those who ruled were the mafias ...
The mafias in his governorate had acquired some specimens of Terramorphs, the
only ones left which they used for fun, where they chose or kidnapped random

people to hunt with them and see who survived ... one of the greatest exponents of
the mafia was nothing more than the former General Connor who had survived
thanks to an escape route devised by him, one day he wanted to innovate this
method of fun which he commented ...
Connor: Hey Sasha your husband is still alive right? Tell me, do you think I am a
good subject for my experiment?
Sasha: please! Get me out of here I can't stand it! And I don't know, it hurts me a
lot to know if he's dead.

After all this, Connor took John with his wife Sasha who he had in a dungeon, John
became too upset and attentive against Connor, which was totally impossible for
him, they beat them and took them to a place very far from that headquarters to an
island where Connor’s mafia did their misdeeds with innocents.
Connor: Look guys, you don't think this view of the island is beautiful.
John: What do you want!?
Connor: What do I want? just have fun and suffer! I never put up with you and
when you tried to stop me, I couldn't wait to get rid of you. And so, I prepared all
this for them.
Charles: You are insane what you want to do to us, that was a long time ago is
irrelevant now.
Connor: Of course, if that's the case, so I'll tell you what to do. They just have to
survive and only that.
John: What do we have to survive, insane!
Connor: Only the Terramorphs that I am going to release while you are on the
island and the one who survives and reaches the other side, well he can go, of
course there is also another group of people inside the island so they are not the
only ones … Guys drop them.
You have about an hour to go into the island and get weapons that you can make
with the scrap that is there.

It was then that Connor threw everyone to the island, he gave them an hour to get
weapons or anything with which he can defend himself, after spending an hour he
threw the Terramorphs to hunt them down.
Sofia: wait wait ... do you hear that noise?

Elisa: Me neither ... what do your John listen to?
John: It´s not a noise, it is rather a sensation ... it cannot be run, the Terramorphs
will arrive soon.
They all began to run as much as they could, but the creatures were much faster
than them and they managed to reach Elisa, which they attacked and killed the
others, they could not do anything for her, they only heard her screams of pain and
despair saying not to let her.

group had made where there was some food and some knives.

already left them far behind but still, they will not stop.
Charles: It is true those creatures are not going to tire until they kill us all.
At that moment, it occurred to John that Terramorphs are like a kind of animal but
in a human body and that a potential prey would only run away from them, that
doing the opposite and not showing fear in front of them, could a possibility that
they would not chase them to which Charles said.
Charles: You are completely insane; they would eat you in an instant!!.
Sofia: It's true John that's crazy
John said that he had a plan which consisted of creating stakes covered with frog
poison to be able to attack from a tree while he was in a specific place to attract
some Terramorphs and do what he had previously thought, that is how it was time
to carry out that plan.
Charles: Here come two Terramorphs watch out.
John: Calm down, leave it to me.
That was how John stayed still and as the creature approached him, he began to
scream as loudly as he could and making gestures that he had learned from his
military training in the face of threats from animals, he continued shouting and
surprisingly his plan worked and the creatures stopped, and little by little they were
moving away from that place.
Sofía: Your plan worked, I hope they don't get close for a long time, I'm already
scared to death.
Charles: Yes, but we have to take as long as possible to find a way out of this
island.

because her plan was not working, but after many attempts the lock was opened
and she was able to open the door of the dungeon and escape to a safe place
inside the headquarters, while the others on the island were building a raft, to be
able to escape from the Terramorphs, which was being very complicated because
they had to be aware of those who passed around them so as not to be attacked
by the monsters.
John: Guys we have to collect more fruits to start the journey to get off this island,
we have to be very careful not to be seen by the Terramorphs, let's hurry.
Charles: We already have what we need, it would be best to leave tonight. Let's
not risk more, we will be safer off this island.
Sofia: John remembers that we have to go in search of Sasha, we have to rescue
her. She must be having a hard time in the dungeon.

John decided to leave at that moment that no noise was heard from the
Terramorphs, they managed to embark on the raft and finally leave that island,
while the Terramorphs were very far from them. three days after they left the
island, they made landfall very close to Connor's headquarters, where it was
packed with troops and another mafia that were not allies of Connor. Which
offered them help to destroy the General. Sasha in those three days managed to
be hidden in the basement of the headquarters.
Charles: John, are you sure you want to ally with the mafia.
John: Of course, for my wife I do whatever, it's better to start a rescue plan for
Sasha and kill Connor once and for all.
Sofía: He's right, it's better to prepare and ally ourselves with this mafia, to be able
to destroy the one who has done us so much damage, and thus avenge the death
of all our friends.
At that moment everyone was preparing to carry out the plan to attack Connor,
they planned to ambush and enter the headquarters in search of Sasha, while
Connor was very calm, resting and believing that everyone had died. That same
night John and his friends decided to attack the headquarters, killing everyone in
their path. until they got to where Connor was. Sasha at that moment decided to
leave the basement and head to where the weapons were found and thus be able
to attack Connor.
Immediately the mob and all of John's allies were inside the headquarters, and
Sasha at that moment saw her husband in the distance and was surprised
because she thought he was dead, she was still where all the weapons were. At
that very moment, Connor leaves his room very armed and ready for anything.
When he came face to face with John and his friends, he was very surprised.
Connor: So, you're still alive, ha ha ha.

John: That's right, I wasn't going to give you the pleasure of watching me turn into
a Terramorph.
Connor: Your dear wife died, just as she deserved. and you will accompany her
very soon.
Sasha: What are you talking about, here I am, ready to get revenge for everything
you've done to me and everyone I love.
Everyone was surprised to see Sasha. As she slowly approached where the
husband was and the others who had Connor cornered, and in her hands, she
carried a weapon with which she killed Connor when she had the opportunity to do
so. Everyone was very happy that their nightmare was over, and finally they could
feel very calm, John hugged his wife and all his friends tightly, they left that place
to start a new life in another place far from the headquarters. that now it would just

Ana Krisayda Pérez Pérez, she was born on July 24, 2000, her family consist of 5
members which are Grandmother, Grandfather, Uncle and her Brother. currently
she studying third year of bacherlor degree in english lenguage at the universidad
de oriente (UNIVO).
She considers herself a very friendly and respectful person, and every day she
likes to dedicate herself to learning new things, and to improving in all possible
aspects. she likes to have very clear goals for her future and she likes to enjoy
every moment with her friends and family.
Luris Lisseth Merino Colato, she was born on August 4, 2020, her family is made
up of her two Aunts and a Nephew. She says she likes to travel with family a lot,
some of her favorite things are listening to music and watching pirate movies, she
likes to live with nature, she studies a degree in English at (UNIVO), one of his
biggest dreams is to travel to see his sister and meet his niece.
She considers herself a very independent and responsible person, she is also very
sociable and has many friends from her school, high school and university.
