DARKNESS

Once upon a time a family which was really a millionaire, once they were at home and a great
job opportunity came away from their city, so they decided to move to another city which was
called Saint Petersburg, Since the spouses obtained a When they arrived in that city, they
started looking for a place to stay, preferably near the city, the family had not found available
houses and they began to despair because the next day they started their new job. While
searching the internet for houses where they could stay and feel at home, they found an
advertisement which caught their attention, it was for a very large house that had a large
garden, a place to play for children, but what the most striking thing was that it was in the middle
of a forest where there was not such an accessible and fast way to the city, also that it was a
house with an old but elegant style. They decided to move to that lonely house away from the
city, the initiative, they took was to give it a modern style and give it cheerful colors because the
house felt boring, and at the same time, it did not look good because of how abandoned it was.
The next day the parents were happy for their first day of work; then when
they left work they decided to go to the city to buy food and things they needed
for their home. Upon arriving at the supermarket they were surprised and seeing
each other as the people who were there began to murmur and say things that a family
had inhabited the house away from the city since that house had not been inhabited for
more than 100 years since a very well-known family died in that city, which was called "The
Duke Washington Family" They were very intrigued about what they heard but no one knew
that they were the new family that had moved into that house, they decided to take a walk
through the most recognized places in that city in search of answers to what they had heard,
came to a coffee shop and asked about the scary story but they didn’t say anything
that they lived in that place, many of those people just stared into their eyes;
and they didn’t give any specific details, they only recounted that this
house was very dangerous and that it had a big secret, everyone murmured
that nobody left that house alive and if they came out alive but completely crazy, the most
curious thing was that the people who were asked were left in a resounding silence without
disclosing the reason why they said that about the house so the family did not believe in those
stories because when they came to that house they noticed that the house was really peaceful
and very spectacular.
The husbands had two children who were twins and with beautiful blue eyes, this family always
used to visit the church on Sundays, when they returned home they saw their things tidy and
the whole house clean, they were surprised to see the house arranged as they had not had time
to tidy up the house was where they thought they had been the neighbors who lived by the lake,
As a thank you they went to visit the house and they got a big surprise in the house there was
no one, so they thought that maybe they had been other people and that someday they would
thank them , But what they didn’t know was that the secret hidden in that house was about to
start, welcoming the new owners.

The next morning they heard really creepy noises the twins thought it was their parents who
were fixing the pictures in the red room, but really they were in the library talking about work
they had to submit, Very curious children went to the lonely red room, but there was nothing the
strangest thing was that that room would never have been and always remained closed, But
every time the kids walked away from that room, the noises started again, and when they were
going to see if anything happened, nothing was heard, the scared kids told their parents that
something weird was going on in the room, the parents said that they were only telling lies to
get more attention but it was not so; night came and everyone gathered at the table ate quietly
when everyone went to sleep they heard again strange noises coming from the red room, the
angry parents went immediately to see and the children were there watching what was going on
and their angry parents scolded them and told them not to do that, The frightened children said
it wasn’t them who made those noises and their parents still didn’t believe them again.
The frightened kids went to their room and all of a sudden at the door was a shadow with a
creepy voice telling the kids that everything would be OK with laughter saying "don’t be afraid
everything will be OK you’ll come with me and your parents will disappear", the frightened twins
screamed very loudly and their parents immediately ran to see what was going on and they told
their parents what the shadow had told them, their parents said it had been a nightmare, that
there was nothing at the door and that the only shadow was theirs, the parents decided that
only for that night they would sleep with them in the same room.

The next night they heard the same noises
again at the same time and that was
already really strange, the most
overwhelming thing was that only the twins
heard those noises and every time they told
their parents they didn’t believe them, Then
the parents began to worry about them, as
they would sometimes walk in their sleep
and open the door of their house and go out
into the courtyard towards the road where
the forest began.
Weeks later the parents went out to a work
meeting, the little ones were left alone in the
house, at the work meeting the parents
received a call from an unknown number,
where their children were heard screaming
desperately so the parents decided to return
to the house quickly, when the parents
arrived the doors of the house were open,
the furniture was torn and the glass cups
were broken there was a complete disaster,
the parents quickly looked for their children
inside the whole house, starting with four of
the children observing that the windows
were destroyed, the curtains moved to the
rhythm of an icy breeze; in the corner of the
room there were two photos of the children
who were broken and there was a figure of
two hands with very large nails that went
down to the floor in a section near the
photos said "they will be mine"
written with a red color coming down from
the wall as if it were blood they thought it
was a joke of the children’s children so
they decided to go to the room where the
parents slept they opened the door and
observed that the glass of the mirror of
the wall was broken stained with letters
that said "are going to die" the frightened
parents finally decided to look in the red
room and saw that the room was messy
with all the doors and windows open, of
that room gave off a very evil aura and
inside it felt a creepy cold and they
realized that their children were not in the
house and decided to look for them in the
woods, while the parents walked lost
among the dark mists, Every time it was
getting darker in the evening the forest
was getting darker and as they walked
further their lamps were slowly fading and
the only noise they heard was their
voices shouting TWINS! TWINS!
TWINS! TWINS! WHERE THEY ARE!
the parents didn’t hear anything, the twins
had left their room because they saw a
shadow similar to that of their parents
telling them to leave the house and that
they had to visit the forest and see what
this forest did that was scary, and the
shadow telling them COME! COME!
COME! WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU IN
THE FOREST! DO NOT BE AFRAID....

The parents kept yelling at the twins, while they kept

twins was lost and one of them was crying because he
did not know where his brother was, the parents ran immediately where they heard the child
speak and managed to find one of their children, the little one was crying and trembling with
fear, The parents asked him what had happened That where his other brother was, the
frightened child told him we parted because we heard that someone was following us, the boy
said that he only remembered that in the house he had heard his voice calling them and telling
them that they were waiting for them in the forest, the three of them kept looking for the child
and suddenly saw the other child on the shore of the lake, the boy was all strange with an
overwhelming smile and his red eyes and seeing them he began to laugh hard, telling them
never to reach me, they will never see me again, if they want to see me again they must follow
me, the parents were very scared and began to follow him, the twin was possessed by
something very strange, the most unusual thing was that the child said, the shadow was always
with me.
The parents didn’t understand what the boy meant, they told their son that they would come
home and he smiled and said that if, when they got home, the children decided to go to his
room, the twin said that he didn’t want to go with his brother because he was behaving
strangely, His parents told him to go with him, because he might have been so scared by the
fright he had gotten when he got lost.
Within a few hours they went to sleep, but the parents did not decide to sleep, they passed the
hours and heard that the door of the house was ringing and they with fear decided to see who
was and was a hunter with his real son, the parents were frightened and afraid to learn that the
child had blue eyes and that the previous child had red eyes realizing that the child they had
taken home was not their child was someone else, they quickly ran to the room, So the hunter
was stunned by what was happening in that house, the parents told the hunter that in this house
scary things happened without having an absolute explanation. As they entered the twins' room
they saw the window open and their other son crying, there was laughter and an icy breeze,
someone said loudly, THIS IS JUST BEGINNING! And they saw a shadow by the window ...

The next morning everyone was really scared thinking this whole thing had
been a nightmare and the hunter had stayed with them to help them in case
that evil shadow came back, the children were very frightened because the
shadow could reappear at any time and could transform into another
person, the hunter decided to stay with the twins to protect them if
something happened; the parents said yes, since it was the hunter who
saved his son, the hunter spent all day watching the house and its
surroundings but did not see anything bad, only saw a good-looking woman
walking near the garden, which told the hunter that she had lived a long
time in the house, He asked the hunter to lend him scissors to cut red roses
for his vase.
The very kind hunter said yes and went to the house to see if he could find
scissors; the man found the scissors and went back to the garden and
realized that the good-looking woman was gone, had disappeared
completely without leaving any trace, the hunter began to notice strange
and turned his gaze towards the window of the children’s room noticing that
the window was open as if someone had entered, at the moment I heard
that the children cried and said the shadow is here!! , the hunter ran
desperately to where the children were, realized that the children had been
scratched and had blood on their hands.
The hunter decided to take the twins outside his house to wait for the
parents to arrive and explain the abnormal situation. They arrived at 5:00
p.m. the parents came home and saw that their children were full of
blood with scratches on their face and they desperately ran to them and
hugged them saying that it had happened because they had those
scratches on their face to what the children said: Mom, dad, the shadow
is back and he’s in the house, we don’t want to be here another minute,
the parents very worried asked the hunter who had happened to what he
told them everything that happened while they were not home, Adding
that apparently the woman he had seen in the garden was not alive, she
was already dead and it was only her spirit that was wandering around
the house, she warned them not to escape the house because that could
cost them their lives. The parents were very frightened to hear what the
hunter told them said that something very bad was about to happen and
that they had to be prepared for what would happen.
A month passed and the strangest thing was that a long time had
passed and nothing bad had happened, neither the shadow had
appeared again, nor the noises were heard all were calm about it, the
hunter wanted to return to his house, but his house was totally destroyed
and with horrible words he said: GET OUT OF HERE! DON’T MESS
WITH ME BECAUSE YOU’LL DIE!

The hunter decided to go back to the house and tell the parents of the twins what had happened
to their house and the anonymous one they had written on it, He asked them for favor if they
allowed him to stay for a few days with them since he had nowhere to stay so they told him that
there was no problem that he could take care of the children when they went to work.
As time went by, everything was still normal, as if nothing had happened, the parents decided to
go to work, the hunter kept taking care of the children, they came from a long day of exhausting
work, It was already midnight when they arrived It was all dark and silent they trembled with fear
turned carefully and saw that it was only the shadow of a black cat, they were scared and
thought a lot about the strange cat, they asked themselves the following: How can there be a
cat in the house? if there are no houses nearby, they instantly went down to see the cat and
unfortunately the cat was dead and with his blood they had written letters on the floor that said,
THIS IS NOT OVER YET! PREPARE FOR THE END!
The parents were alerted to all the tragedies that were happening in the house and it was there
that they believed all the rumors of what people were saying; The popes shouted to the hunter
to come with the children to the room and that they would close all the doors and put salt on the
doors to make the shadow disappear. The hunter didn’t come with the kids to the living room
with his parents, they thought it was weird and that’s where they started looking for him in the
house thinking that maybe he’d be in danger, they checked the rooms, the bathroom, kitchen,
playroom, and there was no trace of them, they made the decision to look outside, thought they
might be playing in the garden, but they weren’t there either. They went back to the house to
think well where they could be, the moment I arrived the hunter got out of the car went home,
the parents asked him where the children were? To which he replied that the children fell asleep
and he took the opportunity to go to the city to buy tools to fix the garden. But because you
could leave them alone, if you know the strange and dangerous things that are happening in the

to see if they were there; as they went up the steps they heard sinister noises from the famous

like that of their children, So they took courage; they entered the room the door closed and they
began to see that the shadow appeared under the bed and they tried to open the door in fear,
but the door could not be opened.

They desperately began to scream for help, looking near the closet were their two children
had their shadow tied and with a piece of tape in their mouth so that they would not be
heard. Parents well desperate to help the children stumbled upon a large box that they quickly
thought they could find something useful to be able to untie the children, as the parents tried
to open the box the shadow appeared again there was great laughter and strangely it started
to rain very loud thunder was heard, And as the parents tried to get as far as the children as
the things in the room began to fall on them, the hunter found a knife, the parents tried to
distract in the shade what the hunter ran quickly to untie the children and quickly took them
out of the room, when the hunter with the twins left the door closed and inside were their
parents and the shadow; the hunter tried to open the door but he couldn’t, tried again and
couldn’t open it either, the hunter thought to use the gun he had found in the box to open the
door, when he was going to take the gun out of his pocket but what he found was a note,
surprised he wondered what this is? opened the note which read: SEEK THE PRIEST MAC
MILLER, HE WILL HELP THEM BEFORE IT’S LATE...
The frightened hunter decided to take the children with him, worried that the children’s parents
might die or be in need of their help. He hurried with his chariot and arrived at the church in
the center of the city in search of the priest. The hunter entered the church and the first thing
to see was a nun to whom he greeted and asked.
Hunter: Is the priest Mac Miller?
Nun: If my dear boy he was here a moment ago.
Hunter: And where is he now?
Nun: He went on a trip to visit a sick person near the pier.
Hunter: Wharf? Oooh! You’re talking to me about the wharf that’s about 10 minutes from the
forest.

Hunter: Strange things are happening in the house of some friends and I found a note in my
pocket that said to look for Priest Miller. And I don’t know what to do anymore.

The hunter again set out on his journey in search of the priest. He drove for 10 minutes and
arrived at the house where he was, through the window I observed that the priest was leaving
the house of the sick; hurriedly he went to him, the priest surprised to see the worry of the
hunter said to him:
Priest: My son, your soul is in anguish.
Hunter: My friends are in danger I need your help if I don’t hurry, they will die.
Priest: And where are they?
Hunter: They are in the forest house.
Priest: Really, where the Duke Washington family once lived?
Hunter: If that is.
Priest: but that house is very dangerous, I was there when one by one of the Duke family was

The priest began to hear the voice saying: Don’t hurt me anymore, if you want all
this to end you have to leave my house and one of you has to sacrifice if that
doesn’t happen the woman will die because she has a curse that I provoke her.
The priest said leave them alone that you don’t get tired of seeing this family suffer
that hasn’t done anything to you, let them go.

The shadow was furious and the things that were in the house were thrown out one
by one, the children cried and said mom, wake up mom don’t abandon us. The
hunter devised a plan and it was that in the garage there was gasoline that they
could use to burn the house and so the curse would end, they found many cans of
gasoline and began to throw all over the house the father just prayed and prayed
and saying don’t take souls so innocent, We just want this to be over. The shadow
entered the red room and closed the door, the father took the opportunity to go and
tell the priest to escape from that place to go to the car where his beloved wife and
children were.
They ran down the stairs, opened the door they were able to escape, there was a
very strong wind that the sky turned red and that was because the shadow was
dying little by little. The house darkened, all the doors were closed and the hunter
had stayed inside the father wanted to return to help the hunter, the father told him
that if he entered the also would die that this was a strategy of the evil shadow to
enter and he would also die. It cannot be said the father with anguish and anger
knowing that the hunter would die because he had been a fundamental thinker in
their lives because if it had not been for the children, he would not be with them. The
hunter from the window of the house saw you with a great sadness on your face and
said don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine escape for your life thank you for giving me a
place in your lives I felt like family which I never had, but with you yes. ¡The father
turned on the car to get out of that place while observing through the mirror of his car
that the hunter in his hands had a box of matches, while the father was walking away
from the car the hunter with tears in his eyes lit a phosphorus screaming UNTIL
HERE ONLY! I slowly drop the phosphorus and the house started to burn.
All crying to see that the hunter gave his life for them, and to see that as everything
had changed... a big explosion was heard and it was the house that had been
destroyed. The sky returned to normal and the mother of the twins began to wake up
and everyone very happy hugged her and said that they promised no more buying
houses that were in the forest, they thanked the priest for helping them. The parents
returned to their town, the priest returned to the church starting a new life away from
all the bad things they went through, prospering their work and being a happy and
successful family.
The story has not finished the shadow came out of the flames again showing in the
