2003, BOSTON
Evie’s friends are waiting for her at the airport. They ask her about Paris, gushing over
and going through the anonymous text messages. She politely refuses anyway.
Her small apartment is silent apart from the sound of her keyboard. She reads about
art theft.
In 1994, Edvard Munch’s ‘’The Scream’’ was stolen. Recovered three months later.
The Mona Lisa was stolen in 1911. Found in Italy.
