Meet some of the people responsible for raising the<br />
profile of the credit management profession and the<br />
professionalism within it. Part 2.<br />
Steven Shentall<br />
Member Services Manager<br />
STEVEN heads up the Member Services<br />
Team with a strong focus on delivering<br />
exceptional customer service, education,<br />
development and support for our CI<strong>CM</strong><br />
members, teachers, tutors, trainers and<br />
the wider credit community. Steven joined<br />
CI<strong>CM</strong> in April 2020 at the start of lockdown<br />
and brings over 20 years’ experience in<br />
a previous Customer Services role for a<br />
large leading online retailer. The Member<br />
Services Team has had a number of<br />
challenges throughout the last year, but<br />
has continued to be curious, resilient and<br />
brave towards our transformation into a<br />
modern membership base so that we can<br />
strengthen and support the businesses<br />
and credit professionals of the future.<br />
Steven enjoys spending time with his<br />
wife, three daughters and family and also<br />
enjoys playing golf and coaching his local<br />
village junior football team on weekends<br />
and travelling abroad.<br />
Deidre Berridge<br />
Senior Member Support Adviser<br />
AFTER leaving school Deidre attended<br />
a local college and studied for the BTEC<br />
National Certificate in Business &<br />
Finance and joined CI<strong>CM</strong> in 1988. Deidre<br />
has been with CI<strong>CM</strong> for over 30 years, and<br />
has for the majority of this time worked<br />
in education and qualification roles –<br />
supporting learners with educational<br />
requirements, organising tutors to<br />
support learners, administering open<br />
training events for both members and<br />
non-members and updating study<br />
material together with general support. In<br />
recent months Deidre has moved over to a<br />
Member Support role, answering queries,<br />
giving advice, taking payments, making<br />
bookings and providing administrative<br />
support for all services across CI<strong>CM</strong>,<br />
including membership, qualifications,<br />
training and events.<br />
Mary Delahunty MCI<strong>CM</strong>(Grad)<br />
Professional Development Adviser<br />
MARY is a qualified teacher, and graduate<br />
member of CI<strong>CM</strong> with over 20 years’<br />
credit management experience. Her credit<br />
career included management positions<br />
at Pilkington Plc, Owens Corning and<br />
Aggregate Industries. Managing OTC<br />
processes and multi-site based teams.<br />
As Professional Development Advisor,<br />
Mary advises individuals and employers<br />
on establishing and implementing best<br />
development pathway solutions for<br />
supporting careers across the credit<br />
arena.<br />
Mary leads the teaching provision for<br />
CI<strong>CM</strong> Credit Academy, delivering virtual<br />
classroom and face to face courses for<br />
CI<strong>CM</strong> qualifications. Mary is continuously<br />
inspired by her students and feels it is<br />
a privilege to play a part in supporting<br />
individual’s career development.<br />
Away from CI<strong>CM</strong> Mary is a Foundation<br />
Director at a Multi Academy Trust of<br />
schools. In her spare time she loves<br />
watching theatre productions and<br />
occasionally being in them.<br />
Beth Turiccki<br />
Member Support Coordinator<br />
BETH started at CI<strong>CM</strong> earlier this year, as our<br />
Business Support Apprentice and has since<br />
then been promoted to our Member Support<br />
Advisor, offering support and guidance to<br />
our members and the wider community.<br />
During her day-to-day tasks, Beth continues<br />
her studies in Business Administration to<br />
obtain her diploma, whilst attending college<br />
one day a week.<br />
When Beth isn’t trying out new restaurants<br />
with her partner or enjoying creating<br />
delicious cocktails with friends, she loves<br />
exploring the beautiful Rutland countryside<br />
on long walks with her two crazy Spaniels.<br />
