8.3.3. Alternatives. After receiving complaints regarding the narrow scope of Alternative A, <strong>and</strong><br />

in an attempt to stop states from adopting non-uniform provisions regarding third party<br />

beneficiaries, in 1966 the Commissioners added Alternatives B <strong>and</strong> C to § 2-318. Each state is<br />

free to adopt the alternative it prefers. Alternative A is the most restrictive alternative as to who<br />

can sue a seller for breach of warranty <strong>and</strong> for what damages; Alternative C is the least<br />
