Style Magazine - October - El Dorado County Foothills - 2021
No matter what type of good or service you're seeking (preschool, plumber, personal trainer, or a solid slice of pizza…), you’ve opened the right reading material. This issue, our biggest of the year, features the 2021 Readers’ Choice Award winners—the best our region has to offer in health, wellness, food, drink, home goods, arts, culture, shopping, and more. Turn to page 35 to find out if your favorite people and places made the list and use it as a pre-screened, reliable resource the next time you’re seeking a top doctor or memorable meal out. Besides the “Best of 2021,” we also delve deep into the spooky but oh-so scrumptious season of ghosts, goblins, and gourds in The 10 Spot (“Celebrate Halloween”; page 16), Editor’s Picks (“12 Autumn Essentials”; page 42), and Taste (“Must-Try Fall Foods”; page 62); introduce you to 5 local breast cancer organizations in “Fight Like a Girl” (page 20); and talk about the importance of home staging when it comes to selling your home in “Seal the Deal” (page 48).

YEARS WON!
The Perri Family is honored to be voted your Best Italian
Restaurant for 15 years in a row! No year has ever been like
this year and the Perri Family thanks you for your support
and your votes.
“During these unprecedented times the family dynamic
switched up a bit,” says Frank Perri, Sr. “My wife and I give
lots of credit to our kids, they performed like champs
during this pandemic and kept up the same consistency
on all the food, with all the takeouts, indoor-outdoor
seating and protocols. We our very proud of our kids.”
Papa Gianni’s Ristorante has been serving up authentic
Italian cuisine using family recipes passed down through
generations. The family owned restaurant offers
an extensive menu based on traditional dishes from
Southern Italy.
From homemade pasta such as ravioli and gnocchi alla
vodka, to hearty meat dishes including pollo parmigiana
and vitello piccata, each entrée is freshly prepared and
made to order. A carefully chosen wine list, including local
and traditional Italian favorites, complement your meal,
and a homemade tiramisu, cannolis, or cheesecake turn
an average night into a special occasion!
The Perri’s believe that family is the key ingredient when
it comes to success, and of course a sincere gratitude to
their loyal patrons.
Buon Appetito,
