New bulk blast machine
Precision Blast Systems is a
supplier of abrasive blast
equipment and has launched a
new large bulk blast machine
capable of running several
operators. This is new to the UK
and part of the company’s
redesigned ECO range which is
unique in the field of abrasive
blasting.
The machine is a new size in
the redesigned ECO range. It is
designed for large scale jobs
where it is capable of running up
to 3 operators working
independently, there is an
optional bulk bag frame which
allows a bulk bag of abrasive to
be mounted above the machine
for easy refill.
The ECO range is designed
for more precise blasting with
economic and environmental
benefits as follows:-

shot, the pre-pressurised vessel

In control
GEMÜ now offers its control valves GEMÜ 567 BioStar control, 567
eSyDrive and 567 servoDrive in new nominal sizes.
The GEMÜ 567 BioStar control, 567 eSyDrive and 567 servoDrive
control valves are designed for aseptic applications and are based on a
unique sealing concept: PD design. This type of design has been
developed by GEMÜ in order to unite the advantages of diaphragm
valves with the advantages of globe valves. The valve's geometry allows
for a hermetic separation of the actuator from the media flow and a
high level of control accuracy. Quantities of 80 l/h right up to 63,000
l/h can be safely controlled, as well as batched quickly and precisely.
The GEMÜ 567 BioStar control, 567 eSyDrive and 567 servoDrive
aseptic control valves are now available in nominal sizes DN 8 to DN
50.
New to the UK market
Fraser Technologies is offering its latest halogen-free (HF) solder paste
to the UK market.
Newly developed by leading global soldering solutions provider,
KOKI, the HF S3X58-HF1100 solder paste provides a market leading
powerful wetting performance, equivalent to conventional halogen
containing solder pastes, whilst still complying with the Halogen-Free
standard (Cl+Br = 0ppm): BS EN14582.
The S3X58-HF1100 paste offers all-round soldering performance for
general purpose applications, along with improved environmental and
health and safety credentials.
Despite being HF, the solder paste maintains a low activation level at
room temperature while still providing excellent melting and wetting
performance during the reflow process. It also excels for ICT testing,
flux splattering, voiding, printing performance, tackiness and electrical
reliability by adopting powerful-wetting and flux coagulation
techniques.
The paste also offers enhanced usability, exhibiting superior printing
response with over one hour stencil idle time.
