Christmas’ concerts will<br />

Coming To Town, Winter<br />
Wonderland, Mary’s Boy Child<br />
and Feliz Navidad.<br />
Mr Farr saidChristmasinthe<br />
Parkhad beencancelled<br />
because of covid uncertainty, as<br />
had other festive events.<br />
‘‘Theperformerswehave<br />
lined up are well known on the<br />
local stage and anumberof<br />
themweredue to perform at<br />
the domain concert.’’<br />
Mr Farr said therewere no<br />
real expensesinvolvedifthe<br />
concerts were thwartedby<br />
covid,but he hoped they would<br />
go ahead.<br />
‘‘We’ve learnt overthe last18<br />
months that you can bury your<br />
head in the sand, or you can<br />
plan ahead andgofor it, and<br />
that’swhatwe’redoing.’’<br />
Ticketsfor All IWant For<br />
Christmas concerts on<br />
December 18 (7.30pm)and<br />
December 19 (2pm) are on sale<br />
from<strong>November</strong> 8.<br />
Ticketscost $15 for adults,<br />
$10for seniors or childrenand<br />
$35for afamily of four.<br />

which hasbeenexpanded to<br />
include community learning<br />
eventsand notjust those<br />
hostedbythe trust.<br />
Groups,organisations,<br />
individualsand businesses<br />
that organise oneoff talks and<br />
workshops areencouraged to<br />
post their events.<br />
Duringthe launch around 40<br />
people from groups that<br />
included <strong>Ashburton</strong> Learning<br />
Centre,the publiclibrary,<br />
Citizen Advice Bureau, Fire<br />
andEmergency, EA Networks<br />
Centre,newcomers network<br />
and<strong>Ashburton</strong> U3A tookthe<br />
opportunity to network and to<br />
seehow they canlist events for<br />
freeonthe new online<br />
platform.<br />
