Guidance<br />
As a student <strong>at</strong> <strong>Malton</strong>, you will follow<br />
one of our P<strong>at</strong>hways (see next page) each<br />
supported by a member of the KS5 Team.<br />
Alongside targeted support from the Head<br />
of Guidance and <strong>Sixth</strong> <strong>Form</strong> Tutor Team,<br />
this helps ensure you realise your chosen<br />
destin<strong>at</strong>ion, whether applying for university,<br />
undertaking an apprenticeship or entering<br />
employment. <strong>The</strong> Team will meet you <strong>at</strong><br />
agreed times over the course of Year 12 and<br />
Year 13 to make sure you have the support,<br />
experiences and qualific<strong>at</strong>ions you need to<br />
make the right decision about your next<br />
steps. We also work with external agencies.<br />
Our careers guidance package includes guest<br />
speakers in assembly, fortnightly guidance<br />
newsletters, Unifrog and the use of iPads as<br />
a ‘one stop shop’ for resources rel<strong>at</strong>ing to<br />
careers.<br />
You will also have a dedic<strong>at</strong>ed tutor<br />
who will support you with university or<br />
apprenticeship applic<strong>at</strong>ions. We use the<br />
‘Unifrog’ pl<strong>at</strong>form to record inform<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
