PROCESS<br />
We want to make the transition from Year 11 to Year 12 as smooth<br />
as possible for you. <strong>The</strong> following applies to the process for entry in<br />
September 2024:<br />
Thursday, 9 November 2023:<br />
Open Evening and start of applic<strong>at</strong>ion window.<br />
Tuesday, 9 & Wednesday, 10 January 2024:<br />
Taster Days in <strong>Sixth</strong> <strong>Form</strong> - over the course of 2 days you will have the opportunity to sample<br />
those A level, BTEC and CTEC courses th<strong>at</strong> you may be interested in.<br />
Pre-booking is essential and more inform<strong>at</strong>ion will be available on our website closer to the time.<br />
Wednesday, 31 January 2024:<br />
Initial closing d<strong>at</strong>e for applic<strong>at</strong>ions – whilst we still accept applic<strong>at</strong>ions after this d<strong>at</strong>e, only<br />
applic<strong>at</strong>ions received by this d<strong>at</strong>e will be considered for any option block changes to resolve any<br />
subject clashes there may be.<br />
Monday, 24 June 2024:<br />
Pre-Registr<strong>at</strong>ion Day – a chance for you to meet your tutor and subject staff, as well as receive<br />
pre-prepar<strong>at</strong>ion work in readiness for starting in September.<br />
Thursday, 22 August 2024:<br />
GCSE Results Day – once we have your results we will be able to confirm your place and send<br />
you the final registr<strong>at</strong>ion forms.<br />
Wednesday, 4 September 2024 (TBC):<br />
Induction Day – your first day in the <strong>Sixth</strong> <strong>Form</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>Malton</strong>.<br />
Thursday, 5 September 2024 (TBC):<br />
Lessons begin.<br />
