Shimadzu Corporation the research company established by the
First President “Genzou Shimadzu” in the year 1875 (133yr).
Thus it is one of the most oldest scientific organization in the
world. Not only scientific machines but also we involved with
manufaucturing of medical and aviation instruments. According
to Shimadzu, the concern was established with ultimate goal of
obtain environmental conservation.
Apart from his dream, exactly 127 years after, Nobel Laureate
Mr. Koichi Tanaka for Chemistry in 2002 was selected from our
Shimadzu Corporation for the quality and dedicated work.

�� Shimadzu Techno Research (STR) is Shimadzu Corporation’s
Corporation
daughter concern founded in 1972 in which head quarters located
in Kyoto.
�� STR holding a Japanese biggest lab. for the organic contaminants
analysis from the environment with highly sophisticated
instruments. Besides, STR also accepts the environmental
consulting jobs.
�� STR has been certified/awarded with ISO 9001, ISO 17025 (12
sample items for dioxins) by JCLA and MLAP by METI (Japanese
Ministry of Economy Trading and Industry)
�� Particularly, STR got the license from Japanese Ministry of
Environment (MOE) for toxic contaminants analysis as a pioneer
qualifiers of environmental analysis.
