LEBANON SHRINE CLUBWe are now headed to the end of a great comeback year at Rajah Shrine. 2020 was horrible and I hopewe never have to face another year like that one. In 2021 we were able to have most of our meetings andfund-raising events. This was only possible because the Nobles of Rajah Shrine came together and madethese events successful. It sure is noteworthy to say that the 2021 Sportsman’s Raffle was the biggest andbest ever. Once again, the hard work and dedication of the Rajah Shrine was on full display. Let’s keepthe spirit rolling right into 2022.Here at Lebanon County Shrine Club, we are back to normal, too. We are eating a lot of potpie andworking hard to support Rajah Shrine any way we can, but we are struggling to get Nobles to take clubDennis Royer offices. There are meetings when our attendance is nothing short of pathetic. I am sure there are otherclubs and units facing the same problems. Lebanon County Shrine Club has been fortunate to have a largeamount of support from the Divan and Past and Present Potentates. And for that a huge thank you. Without their support our Club’sstruggle would be greater. We all need to come together and support each other.Lebanon County Shrine Club meets the 4th Monday at 6:30 p.m. This has not changed since the Club’s founding in 1949.We meet at Heisey’s Diner on Rt. 72 north of Lebanon. We no longer send out a newsletter because of cost and delivery issues.Everyone is welcome and bring your Lady. Questions??? Contact Us. See everyone at the end of the year events at Rajah, and donot forget the Ceremonial in DecemberLEHIGH SHRINE CLUBNobles, its hard to believe this month is Thanksgiving and shortly thereafter, Christmas! This is thetime of year to remember and be grateful for the many blessings the Great Architect of the Universe hasbestowed upon us. Let us be thankful and pray that He continues to bless us and watch over this greatcountry.Our October 6 Stated Meeting was held at the Starlite Diner in Trexlertown. There were 25 Nobles andLadies present, including Ill. Sir Kraig W. Leiby, his Lady Janet, four Past Potentates and other membersof the Divan. We enjoyed a delicious meal of soup, salad and pork chops. In lieu of a formal program, thePotentate spoke about the Gun Raffle and some other upcoming events.The LSC First Annual Ron Neimeyer Memorial Golf Outing was held on Wednesday, October 13, atIron Lakes Country Club. We had 48 golfers, great weather, and a very good buffet lunch. After expenses,Roger C. Reiswe raised almost $3,400.00 for the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Special thanks to NoblesIll. Sir. Wm A. Remo Jr., Ill. Sir. David W. Evans, Paul A. Lizun, Robert Vrancken and President Dennis B Guignet, Sr. fordonations of prizes and helping out. The tentative date for next year’s golf outing is Wednesday, October 12, 2022. All Shriners andguests are always welcome.The Stated Meeting for November was on the third. We were able to return to the Brass Rail but were limited to having soup,cheese steak sandwiches, French fries and pumpkin pie. The Brass Rail is open but serving a very limited menu. Our speaker wasthe owner/manager, Mark Sorrentino, who spoke about his background and how he ended up running the family business. He saidthe Brass Rail will be relocating next year to a yet-to-be-determined local site.There were 28 Nobles and Ladies present, including the Potentate and his Lady, four Past Potentates and members of the Divan.As always, the LSC appreciates their continued support of our Club. Our newest member, Noble Donald B. Houston, was presentwith his Lady Joyce for his first meeting with us.The program consisted of a presentation of the “Order of the Krazy Kamel” to seven Nobles. Experiencing this momentousevent were Ill. Sir Kraig W. Leiby, High Priest and Prophet Donald G. Heimbecker, Oriental Guide Ronald L. Szapacs, RecorderLes A. Werley, First Ceremonial Master John A. Grumbein, Noble Wm. Grimley and Noble Donald B. Houston. Needless to say,these Nobles will remember this evening for the rest of their lives. It was a fun evening and very much enjoyed by all.Our December meeting will be on the third. It is our Annual Christmas Party, held at the Cetronia Fire Company Social Club.There will be an Ugly Sweater contest.December 17th will be our Ladies Night, held at the Shepherd Hills Country Club in Wescosville. Contact any officer of ourClub for more information.Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year from our Club to you and yours!Nobles, remember to support and attend your Clubs and Units.
