But for a few hardy fishermen, the season has come to an end. Now we can share our experiences and
adventures and the fish will be bigger and higher in number as time passes by. Unfortunately, we have lost
some great friends who were important members of our club.
As we look toward the end of the year, it’s social events that fill our calendar. Last week at our monthly
meeting we met at Ozgood’s for a dinner with our Ladies. Jim Atkins was our guest and shared with us
things that are going on in the hospital and plans for future events. We now look forward to our holiday
celebrations. especially our Christmas Party/Ladies Night featuring special music by the Chanters.
We can’t forget about our end of the year sauerkraut sale as we have eight barrels to bag and prepare
for sale. We are looking forward to the Ceremonial and the taking in of new Nobles and, who knows, we
might find a new angler or two.
May all of you have a great and safe holiday season and keep in mind our hospital kids as we enjoy the bounty the Lord has
provided.
