February saw the return of the popular under 5’s
singing session. This lively half hour is delivered by
Sharon – one of our lovely regular volunteers – and
is entitled ‘Wednesday Singalong’.
Sessions are fortnightly with the next one on
2nd March from 10.30 – 11am. (NB no session
on 16th March). There will be songs, rhymes,
musical instruments, lots of tunes and loads of
fun. All welcome – babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers,
grandparents, parents, carers – tuneful or otherwise
(who are we to judge?). Come along and make some
noise!
Children’s Easter craft activity on Friday 8th April.
Drop-in between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Check at
library for more details.
In the light of COP26, Inspire Learning would like to
do its part in recycling, and at the same time raise
money for the John Eastwood Hospice in Mansfield
by collecting clean plastic pop and milk bottle lids.
These will be recycled by a local plastics factory and
a cash donation will be made to the John Eastwood
Hospice in return. To date, they have raised over
£1,000 which has been spent on new equipment to
benefit their patients. You can drop clean lids into
the library and we will send them on.
