Following a multi-million pound redevelopment this popular museum has now re-opened.<br />

Set in over 1000 acres of stunning 18th century parkland designed by Capability Brown and<br />

home of the Earl of Carnarvon, Highclere has been described as the finest Victorian House<br />

in existence and now, as the home of Downton Abbey. Created by Sir Charles Barry who<br />

also designed the Houses of Parliament, the castle has a magnificent library and drawing<br />

blooms will be specially arranged to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and the 800th anniversary of the Cathedral. Promising to be a<br />

Having reopened to the public in 2018 we are delighted to be returning to Leonardslee Gardens. Built in 1801 with breathtaking views of the English<br />

countryside and blooming displays of Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Camellias, Magnolias and Bluebells. Set in the steep-sided valley; the ponds contain a<br />

colony of Carp fish and the combination of parkland, lawn and forest land inhabits a rare colony of wallabies and a number of deer species who<br />

Syon Park, the London home of The Duke of Northumberland since the end of the 16th<br />

century, lies in 200 acres of Capability Brown landscaped parkland near to<br />

Richmond/Brentford west of London. The Tudor mansion was remodelled by Robert Adam<br />

for the 1st Duke in 1760's with the magnificent interior decoration of the state rooms<br />

regarded as an early masterpiece of this celebrated 18th century architect. The house has<br />

Mottisfont Estate & Garden - National Trust<br />

Having started life as a priory, Mottisfont, near Romsey, was transformed over the years in<br />

to a lovely country home surrounded by a large estate and parkland. Maud Russell made<br />

Mottisfont her home in the 1930s, bringing artists here to relax and work – the<br />

extraordinary drawing-room was painted by artist Rex Whistler. Enjoy a stroll along the<br />

sparkling River Test which runs through the estate and the colours of the season. Plenty of<br />

time to explore plus there is an excellent cafe/restaurant or you may like to picnic in the<br />

We are delighted to offer a day excursion to Mapperton, set in the very heart of Dorset<br />

sandstone Manor House surrounded by celebrated gardens. Home to the Earl and Countess of Sandwich, Mapperton was voted the UK’s finest manor<br />

Kennet & Avon Canal Trip<br />

Please book early to avoid disappointment as these trips are extremely popular. We travel to the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon near Bath, with<br />

an extended stop on the way at Salisbury and a chance to buy lunch to have on the boat. We board the superb M V Barbara McLellan broad beam<br />

narrowboat and enjoy the wildlife and countryside on our 2 1/2 hour cruise along tranquil<br />

stretches of water with magnificent panoramic views including crossing the Avoncliff Aqueduct.<br />

Best known for its fine gardens, Hinton Ampner is an elegant country house with an outstanding<br />

collection of furniture, paintings and objets d'art set in lovely Hampshire countryside. The house<br />

was extensively remodelled after a traumatic fire in 1960. Lord Sherborne, created the gardens -<br />

widely acknowledged to be a masterpiece of 20th century garden design. With their crisply<br />

manicured lawns and fine topiary, the gardens cleverly combine formal design with informal<br />

This magnificent Elizabethan Mansion House located in South Somerset is constructed in<br />

local Ham stone and incorporates a National Portrait Gallery exhibition. Highly<br />

recommended. The house is noted for its fine furniture, tapestries and heraldic glass and<br />

its amazing Long Gallery which extends the full length of the house - a remarkable 172ft!<br />

Come along to one of the most glamourous events in the British Sporting calendar with a<br />
