FROM THE DEPUTY HEAD CURRICULUM SENIOR SCHOOL
During the October school holidays, Year 12 students
are strongly encouraged to attend revision seminars
which will be offered in a number of subjects at the
College. A schedule is being finalised and details will be
distributed to students and parents in the near future.
There are also a number of external seminar providers
(see below) and we urge students interested in pursuing
this option to book in early as places quickly fill.
The value of such seminars should not be underestimated
and we strongly encourage students to avail themselves
of these opportunities wherever possible.
The process of student subject selections for next year
is almost complete and I am pleased to advise that all
has progressed very smoothly.
The Year 7 assembly to outline the subject selection
process to the students was held on Tuesday this week.
Signed subject selection forms are to be returned to
Home Group teachers by Tuesday, 20th September.
I wish to express my thanks to the many staff involved
in assisting with this process over the past few weeks.
I would also like to thank the parents/guardians who
attended the information evenings held recently and
hope they found these evenings to be very informative.
It is essential that students, parents/guardians and
staff work together to afford our students the best
opportunities for success in their studies.
IMPORTANT NOTICES FOR PARENTS
Withdrawal of a Student
At this stage of the school year, the attention of
parents is drawn to the following paragraph which
appears each year on the College fee schedule:
“Parents are required to give the Headmaster one
term’s notice of withdrawal of a student, or a full
instalment of fees will be charged”.
If your child will not be returning to the College
next year, your early advice in writing to the
Headmaster (Senior Campus) or Head of Junior
School prior to the conclusion of Term 3, Friday
30th September, would be appreciated.
