After breakfast, your adventure to the South Shore takes you thru
small villages, farmlands, and majestic mountains with a view of
Eyjafjallajokull volcano, which last erupted in 2010. See magnificent
waterfalls, and visit the Skogar Folk Museum. See the Reynisdranger
Rocks, which stand 216 feet above sea level at their highest point.

DAY 4•REYKJANES PENINSULA & THE BLUE LAGOON (B)
Head for the rough tracks of the Reykjanes volcanic area. Visit
geothermal area of Krysuvike & Lake Kleifarvatn. Next, visit Blue
Lagoon, a warm, mineral-rich water lake known for its healing
prowess. Enjoy a soak in the warm water!
DAY 5•REYKJAVIK (B)
Tour Iceland’s unique capital. The city is heated entirely by geothermal
water; it is home to the “smoking bay,” named for the rising steam
in the bay. See the heart of the city, home to many charming historic
buildings. On the panoramic city tour, see the old town center,
Parliament, harbor, National Museum, and Hallgrimskirkja Church,
whose steeple is a city landmark. Also, included is “Fly Over Iceland,”
a virtual flight of the spectacular natural wonders of Iceland.

Enjoy scenic drives and historical sites along the Golden Circle.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Thingvellir Nat’l Park
and Geysir, Iceland’s most famous area for thermal activity. View
“Strokkur,” one of the most active geysers & “Gullfoss,” Iceland’s most
famous waterfall. End the day at a local farm to meet native Icelandic
horses and learn about growing tomatoes using green energy.
