Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Lucerne.

Afternoon at leisure. Enjoy a get-together with your traveling

Enjoy a walking tour of the highlights of this city, including the famous

14th-century Chapel Bridge. See the 17th-century Renaissance Town

Hall and more, all set among the beautiful Swiss Alps.

DAY 4•OPTIONAL MT PILATUS/EMBARK IN BASEL (B, D)

Free time today with an optional excursion to Mt. Pilatus-the

impressive mountain overlooking Lucerne. Travel by coach to Basel for

embarkation.

DAY 5•BREISACH, GERMANY (B, L, D)

Today, you choose a visit to a typical Black Forest Village or take a

guided hike along some of the Black Forest Trails.

DAY 6•STRASBOURG, FRANCE (B, L, D)

A coach takes us to the capital city of the Alsace Region, where we

take a walking tour. See the historic city center & UNESCO World

Heritage site.

DAY 7•MANHEIM/HEIDELBERG, GERMANY (B L, D)

Continue upstream to Mannheim, located at the confluence of the

Rhine & Neckar Rivers. Travel by coach to Heidelberg, where you can

take a walking tour of the town or an active hike to Heidelberg Hill.

DAY 8•KOBLENZ, GERMANY (B, L, D)

Visit the 2000-year-old town of Koblenz with the Ehrenbreitstein

Fortress. The fortress was headquarters for the American military

during WWII.

DAY 9•COLOGNE, GERMANY (B, L, D)

Founded by the Romans, the city is one of Germany’s oldest and is

famous for its magnificent World-Heritage-listed gothic cathedral.

Enjoy the historic charm of the Old Town & it’s quaint alleyways &

historical Monuments.

DAY 10•AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS (B, L, D)

Depart by coach for a visit to Keukenhof Gardens to take in the

beauty of the “Garden of Europe” as you admire the gorgeous

flowers & tulips. Enjoy a free afternoon in Amsterdam.

DAY 11•AMSTERDAM TO USA (B)

Bid farewell to Europe as we return to the USA today.
