FITC REFLECT ON SUCCESSFUL SATURDAY
STAY ALL DAY CLUB
Mansfield Town has enjoyed a magnificent campaign this season,
and the support has been excellent. Every home game, Mansfield
Town Football in the Community run a Saturday Stay All Day club
– the season for which has now come to an end.
Participants of the club have enjoyed football activities for two hours
on the 3G pitch outside the ground, supervised by our expert coaches.
From there, there is time for a quick bite to eat whilst they wait in the
stands for the big kick-off with the staff. After the game is finished,
parents then collect their children at the Community office at 5pm.
The number of participants has been at an all-time high for the
Saturday Clubs this season which is great to see as Football in the
Community continue to push support for the Stags at an early age.
The price for attending the Saturday Stay All Day clubs when they’re
up and running again is £17 for non-junior SSA members and £12 for
members.
With the season coming to a close, today marks the last day of
the Saturday Stay All Day club, but we will continue to deliver the
Saturday Morning club until the new season begins. When the Stags
are not playing at home, the Saturday Morning club runs from 10am-
12pm, costing just £4. Participants have the chance to play football
and enjoy fun-filled activities on the 3G pitch under the guidance of
coaches.
Mansfield Town Football in the Community would like to thank
everyone who has attended the Saturday clubs throughout the year.
Community manager Gary Shaw has been impressed with the level of
enthusiasm and support the participants have shown at the games.
“We’ve had so much fun throughout the season this year running
these Stay All Day clubs,” he said.
“We’ve had high numbers for every home game this year, and we look
forward to welcoming everyone back in the new season, hopefully in
a new division!”
Keep an eye out for Mansfield Town Football in the Community’s
holiday clubs with one coming up at the end of May.
