Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions March 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 197 Lionel postwar 6413 Mercury capsule carrying car in OB. This is the scarce version with an aquamarine color frame, one operating coupler and one fixed coupler. The car is C7-8. The OB has one end flap detached, but is included. 198 Lionel postwar 2461 transformer car that has a red transformer in OB with original cardboard insert. The car is C7-8. The OB has all flaps attached. 199 Lionel postwar 6517 bay window caboose with inspection tag in OB. This is the version with the Built Date underscored. The car has been test run, C9. The OB has all flaps attached and is very clean. 200 Lionel postwar 2356P/2356T Southern F3 AA diesel units in individual OBs with original cardboard inserts and wraps, instruction booklet, uncut sheet of billboards, catalogs, CTC lockon, instruction sheet and inspection tags. The diesel units have never been run, C9-10. The individual OBs are bricks and are very clean with all flaps attached, C10. 201 American Flyer prewar O gauge 431 loco/tender combination consisting of a 429 black 0-6-0 die cast steam loco and a 430 slope back tender with brass journals. The loco and tender are C6. 202 American Flyer prewar O gauge freight cars; 229 orange boxcar with a green roof, 406 green log car and a 3017 red caboose all with brass journals. The top of the cupola on the caboose has been repainted. Also included is a 3018 yellow tank with A.F. Lines Air Service decals on both sides. The cars are C5. 203 American Flyer prewar O gauge Burlington Zephyr streamliner passenger set in individual OBs and set box containing; 9910 loco. 9912 coach, 9911 observation and a Vestibule Clamps envelope. The set is C7. The individual OBs and set box are bricks. The individual OBs have strong stampings. The set box has two labels which are bright and fully intact. 204 American Flyer prewar O gauge 3020 maroon 4-4-4 boxcar loco, C5. 205 American Flyer prewar O gauge brown lithographed passenger cars including; two 3000 United States Mail Railway Post Office baggage cars and two 3001 Columbia Pullmans. One of the 3000 baggage cars is missing a door. The cars are C4 -5. 206 Desirable American Flyer prewar O gauge uncatalogued Montgomery Ward green lithographed passenger set in individual OBs and set box containing; 7011 electric 0-4-0 loco, 3000 United Stated Mail Railway Post Office baggage car, 3001 Illini Pullman and a 3001 Illini observation. The set is C6-7. The individual OBs have all flaps attached. The set box has the label intact, but has darkened with age. 207 American Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed eight-wheel freight cars including; 1113 red sand car, 1116 green New York Central Lines sand car and a 1117 red caboose. Cars are C6. A figure has been glued to the back of the caboose. 208 American Flyer prewar O gauge 1115 dark green lithographed Southern Pacific Lines boxcar with red and white Southern Pacific logo on right side of the door and lithographed six panel doors. Also included is a 1115 white lithographed N.Y.C. & H.R. Merchants Despatch Dairy Line refrigerator car with a white door. Both cars have eight wheels. The cars are C5. 209 American Flyer prewar O gauge dark green lithographed 1112 Southern boxcar with six-panel dark green door and eight wheels. The car is C6. 210 American Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed eight wheel freight cars including; 1146 log car, 1146 log car with no cross piece, 1116 green P.R.R. sand car and a 1114 red caboose missing the cupola.The cars are C5. 211 American Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed eight wheel freight cars; two 1115 yellow Automobile Cars, one with an orange roof and one with a red roof and a 1112 red Automobile car with dark red roof. The cars are C5. 212 American Flyer prewar O gauge yellow lithographed eight wheel Canadian Pacific boxcar with black roof. The car is C5 -6. 213 American Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed eight wheel sand cars; 1116 dark green New York Central Lines, 1116 orange Pennsylvania System and a 1116 CB&Q Burlington Route. Also included is a lithographed eight wheel 1118 dark gray American Flyer Tank Line tank car. The cars are C5-6.
Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions March 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 214 American Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed eight wheel 1112 red Automobile Car with black roof and a lithographed eight wheel 1115 dark green Southern Pacific Lines boxcar with a red and white Southern Pacific Lines logo to the right of the door on both sides. The 1115 is missing both couplers. The cars are C4. 215 American Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed red eight wheel Nation Wide Lines sand car. The car is C5. 216 American Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed dark green eight wheel Southern Pacific Lines boxcar with red and white Southern Pacific Lines logo to the right of the door. The car is C6. 217 Unusual American Flyer prewar master carton containing six 2210 deluxe lamp posts, each with two white 18 volt lamps, track terminals and original paper wrap. The lamp posts are orange, with a gold colored pinnacle on top and a gray rectangular base. The lamp posts are in individual OBs and a scarce master carton. The master carton is stamped “6-No. 2210 ARC LIGHT”. The lamp posts appear to have never been used and except for a few tiny nicks are C9. The individual OBs are clean and square with all labels fully intact. The labels are bright with crisp color graphics. The master carton is darkened due to age and is complete with all flaps. 218 American Flyer prewar wide gauge blue lithographed Presidential Special passenger set containing; 4687 electric 4-4-4 loco, 4090 baggage, 4091 West Point coach and a 4092 Annapolis observation. The cars have yellow trim and brass journals. The loco has been rewheeled and is C7. The passenger car roofs have some scratches and the cars are C6-7. 219 American Flyer prewar wide gauge 4007 sand car with a Lionel 12 body, circa 1926. The gondola is gray with Rock Island Lines lettering. The car is missing one coupler and is C6. 220 American Flyer prewar wide gauge green 4644 electric 0-4-0 loco with black frame. Also included are two green lithographed passenger cars; 4041 Pleasant View coach with black flex trucks and a 4042 Pleasant View observation with gray flex trucks. The loco and cars are C6. 221 American Flyer prewar wide gauge two 4017 green sand cars, one with a green frame and gray flex trucks and one with a black frame and black flex trucks. The green sand cars are C5. Also included is a 4022 orange machinery car with turquoise bars in OB. The 4022 car is C6. The OB has all flaps attached. 222 American Flyer prewar wide gauge 4637 green Shasta 0-4-0 electric loco with a tan frame. Both of the headlights have been replaced and the loco has been rewheeled. The loco is C5-6. 223 American Flyer prewar wide gauge 4017 green sand car and a 4022 orange machinery car with turquoise bars. Both cars have gray trucks and brass journals. The cars are C5. 224 American Flyer prewar wide gauge freight cars; 4018 Rookie tan boxcar with a turquoise roof and a 4020 Rolls Royce two-tone blue stock car. The cars have gray flex trucks and brass journals. Cars are C6. 225 American Flyer prewar wide gauge 4021 red caboose with gray flex trucks and brass journals. The caboose is C6. 226 American Flyer prewar wide gauge 4006 red hopper with gray trucks and brass journals. The hopper is C6. 227 American Flyer prewar wide gauge 4635 red 0-4-0 electric loco with a gray frame. The loco has been rewheeled and is C6. 228 American Flyer prewar wide gauge 4695R/C black 4-4-2 brass piper steam loco and a 4693 Vanderbilt die cast tender. The die casting on the loco and tender is solid. Loco and tender are C7. 229 American Flyer prewar wide gauge President’s Special Rolls Royce two-tone blue passenger cars including; 4390 Academy club car, 4393 diner, 4391 Pullman and 4392 observation. The car bodies are C6-7. 230 Lionel postwar 450 operating signal bridge in OB with original cardboard insert, instruction sheet, inspection tag and a factory sealed envelope. The accessory has never been used, C10. The OB is a brick, C10. 231 Lionel postwar 2322 Virginian FM Train Master diesel factory sealed in OB, C10. The OB is dated 1965. The box is bright and clean, C10.
