Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions March 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 324 Lionel prewar standard gauge 400W Blue Comet whistle tender with nickel and brass trim and nickel journals in OB. The draw bar and coupler have some surface rust. The tender is C7. The OB has a bright and clean label which is fully intact and is stamped 400TW. The box is stamped BLUE on the box on each side of the label. One end has an interior and exterior flap missing and the other end is sealed. 325 Lionel prewar standard gauge Blue Comet passenger cars with cream inserts and brass trim and journals in OBs including; 420 Faye Pullman, 421 Westphal Pullman and a 422 Tempel observation. The couplers on the cars have light surface rust. This is a clean matched original set of Blue Comet passenger cars, C7-8. Two of the OBs are missing all flaps on one end and one OB has one interior flap detached but included. 326 Lionel postwar 6530 fire and safety training car and a 6437 Pennsylvania porthole caboose both in OB. The 6530 and the 6437 are C8. Also included is a 3419 operating helicopter car with a two inch spindle and a helicopter with double blades in OB. One of the rails on the landing gear is broken. The axles have some surface rust on the 3419, otherwise car is C7-8. The OBs have all flaps, display panel and push in tabs intact. The 3419 box has tape repair. 327 Lionel postwar 6414 automobile transport car with four red cars that have gray bumpers in OB. The car has tape residue. Car is C7-8. The OB has all flaps attached. 328 Lionel postwar 2353P/2353T Santa Fe F3 AA diesel units, C7. 329 Lionel postwar 6736 Detroit & Mackinac open quad hopper and a 6436-110 red Lehigh Valley quad hopper with no built date both in OBs. The 6736 is C8. The display panel, push in tab and all flaps are attached on the 6736 OB, except for one coupler flap which is detached but included. The 6436-110 has never been run, but has box rubs, C8. All flaps and the cellophane front are intact on the 6436-110 OB. Also included is a 6361 log car with load and a 6162-110 blue New York Central gondola with three white canisters both in OB. The cars are C8. The 6361 OB has all flaps and display panel intact. The push in tab is partially detached. The 6162-110 OB has all flaps attached. 330 Lionel postwar 2055 black 4-6-4 steam loco and a 2046W tender both in OBs. The loco is C7-8 and the tender is C7. The loco OB is missing flaps and has tape repair. The tender OB has all flaps attached and shows wear. 331 Lionel postwar accessories; 140 banjo signal, 151 semaphore with original cardboard insert and a 395 red floodlight tower all in OBs. The accessories are C6, The OBs have all flaps attached, except for the 151 which has one interior flap detached but included. 332 Lionel postwar no. 60 trolley with original cardboard insert, inspection tag and instruction sheet in OB. The trolley has black lettering and a two part bumper. The trolley has been test run, C9. The OB has all flaps attached, however one end flap has a tear in it. 333 Lionel postwar freight cars; 3562-25 gray A.T.& S.F. operating barrel car, 3656 operating cattle car, 3361X operating lumber car and a 6434 poultry car all in OBs. The cars are C6-7, except for the 6434 car which is C6. The OBs have most flaps attached and show some wear. 334 Lionel postwar 2245P/2245C Texas Special F3 AB diesel units in OBs with original cardboard inserts. The diesels are C7. The 2245P OB has all flaps attached and is sealed on one end. The 2245C OB has all flaps attached and has a tear on one side. 335 Lionel postwar 138 water tank with an original packet containing a 96C controller in OB and a 455 oil derrick with a 364C controller and two barrels. The derrick is missing the Sunoco sign and the bubble light tube. The water tank is C8. The 138 OB is soiled. The 455 is C7-8. 336 Lionel postwar 736 black 2-8-4 Berkshire steam loco and 2046W tender both in OBs with original cardboard inserts. Other than a couple of tiny nicks, the loco is C8. The tender has one repaired step and has been rewired. The tender is C7. The loco OB has all flaps attached. The tender OB has one end flap detached but present. 337 Lionel postwar freight cars including; 3469X automatic dump car with a 160 bin, 3461 operating log car with wood load and a 160 bin , 3520 operating searchlight car, 6460 black crane and 6419 D.L.&W, wrecking car all in OBs, except for the 3461. The 3520 has one brake wheel missing. The cars are C7. The boxes are worn.
Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions March 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 338 Lionel postwar type ZW 275-watt transformer in OB with two original cardboard inserts. The transformer is missing two terminal nuts. Transformer is C7. The OB is soiled. 339 Lionel postwar 2353P/2353T Santa Fe F3 AA diesel in OBs with original cardboard insert and paper wrap. The diesels are C7. The 2353P is sealed on one end and has all flaps attached. The 2353T has one end flap detached but present. 340 Lionel postwar aluminum passenger cars including; 2533 Silver Cloud Pullman, 2534 Silver Bluff Pullman, 2532 Silver Range vista dome and 2531 Silver Dawn observation all in OBs with original cardboard inserts. This is a matched set with all name plates attached with hex head screws. The cars are C7. The OBs are missing some end flaps. 341 Lionel postwar 494 steel rotating beacon painted silver in OB with original cardboard insert and instruction sheet. The 494 is C7-8. The OB is clean with all flaps attached, except for one interior flap which is detached. Also included is a 1045 operating watchman with a 1045C controller in OB. The brass sign is bent and the 1045 is C6-7. The OB is worn. 342 Lionel postwar 3656 operating cattle car in OB with corral, individual OB for the cattle figures, missing the figures and an instruction sheet and a 3472 automatic milk car with platform, three milk cans and instruction sheet in OB with original cardboard insert. Also included is a 50 gang car with a center horn in OB and a 6555 Sunoco tank car in OB. One of the men is missing from the gang car. All of the cars are C5, except for the gang car which is C6. The OBs are worn. 343 Lionel postwar aluminum passenger cars including; 2533 Silver Cloud Pullman and a 2532 Silver Range vista dome both in OBs with original cardboard insert. The name plates are attached with round head rivets. The cars are C7. The 2533 OB is missing an interior flap and one tuck flap. The 2532 OB has all flaps attached. 344 Lionel postwar accessories including; three 260 bumpers all in OBs, one with an instruction sheet and inspection tag, 927 lubricating and maintenance kit, incomplete in OB, five billboard frames with two billboards, 671-75 smoke lamp in OB and a 40 dark gray cable reel. Also included is a 1954 catalog and two 1952 instruction booklets. The 260 bumpers, the billboards and the cable reel are C7-8, the 671-75 is C8 and the 927 is C6. 345 Lionel postwar freight cars including; 3456 Norfolk & Western operating hopper, 3464 Santa Fe operating boxcar, two 6456 red Lehigh Valley gondola, 6014 white Baby Ruth boxcar, 6462 black New York Central gondola with wooden barrels and a 6462 red New York Central gondola that is missing a truck. Both 6456 hoppers, the black 6462, 3464 boxcar and 3456 operating hopper have OBs. The cars are C7-8. The OBs are worn. 346 Lionel postwar accessories; 494 steal rotating beacon painted silver in OB with original cardboard insert, 154 automatic highway signal with a 154C track connector and a 252 automatic crossing gate with packet containing 145C contactor and instruction sheet in OB. Also included are two Marx 419 single light lamp posts and four Marx lockons. The accessories are C7. The beacon box has all flaps attached and the 252 OB is worn. 347 Lionel postwar 726 black 2-8-4 Berkshire steam loco and a 2426W tender both in OBs with original cardboard inserts. The loco is the 1946 version with the smoke lamp. The loco has one broken marker light, is missing the whistle and six stanchions. The wire handrails are detached but included. Loco is C5, The tender is C6. The loco OB has all flaps attached. The tender OB is worn and missing flaps. 348 Lionel postwar Pennsylvania Congressional aluminum passenger cars; 2542 Betsy Ross vista dome and 2541 Alexander Hamilton observation. The cars are C7. 349 Lionel postwar 3435 aquarium car in OB, C8. The OB has all flaps, display panel and push in tab intact. One end flap has tape repair. 350 Fantastic Lionel postwar 773LTS containing a 773 Hudson and tender factory sealed in master carton, C10. This is the 1964-1966 version. The master carton is clean with strong stampings, C10. 351 American Flyer prewar O gauge no. 13 type VII black 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco and a 120 tender, no. 1 type VIII black 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco and a 120 red and green tender and a no. 1 type XII black 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco and a 120 orange and green tender. The side rods are missing on two of the engines. The locos and tenders are C5, except for the orange tender which is C7.
