Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions March 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 388 Lionel prewar standard gauge four pairs of 223 automatic switches each with two 222 switch controllers and four no. 28 globes in individual boxes in OBs that have original cardboard inserts, one with an instruction sheet. There is one no. 28 globe and one individual 222 switch controller missing. Also included are two no. 20 90-degree crossings in OBs. The switches and crossings are C7. The OBs have bright and clean color graphics and have some interior flaps missing. 389 Lionel prewar standard gauge 384E black 2-4-0 loco and 390T tender both with green stripes in OBs with original cardboard inserts. The original wheels on loco are starting to disintegrate. The loco and tender are C7-8. The loco and tender OBs have all flaps attached. 390 Lionel postwar 400 Baltimore and Ohio RDC Budd car, C6-7. 391 Lionel postwar 6414 Evans Auto Loader with four cars in original sleeves in OB, C8. The OB has all flaps attached. 392 Lionel postwar 2530 aluminum baggage car with a glued on name plate, C6-7. 393 Lionel postwar 394 green rotary beacon with original lantern in individual OB and a 395 yellow floodlight with instruction sheet in OB. The accessories are C5. The OB has all flaps attached. 394 Lionel postwar 2023 Union Pacific Alco AA diesel units. Also included is an extra 2023 Union Pacific Alco dummy A unit. The diesels are C6, 395 Lionel postwar freight cars including; 2461 transformer car with a red transformer, 3474 Western Pacific boxcar with one rusty door guide, 3520 operating searchlight car with an orange generator and dark gray searchlight and a 6555 Sunoco tank car all in OBs. The 3520 is missing a brake wheel. The cars are C7. The 2461 box has an original cardboard insert. The 3250 and 6555 OBs have all flaps attached. The other two boxes have some flaps missing. 396 Lionel postwar accessories; four 35 Boulevard lamp posts and a 58 cream lamp post all in OBs. Also included is a 35 Boulevard lamp post without a box. Two of the no. 35 lamp posts are C8, one of the 35 lamp posts and the 58 lamp post are C7 and the other 35 lamp post has a broken lamp shade. The 35 lamp post without a box has a broken shade. The OBs are missing tuck flaps and have some flaps attached. 397 Lionel postwar 3376-160 green operating Bronx Zoo giraffe car that has an envelope with contents and a 6464-525 Minneapolis & St. Louis type IV boxcar both in OBs. The cars are C8. The 3376-160 OB is missing a tuck flap and has some tape repair. The other 6464-525 has all flaps attached. 398 Lionel postwar two 3927-50 containing 25 wiping cylinders, two 38-85 accessory adapter track sets and a 36 operating car remote control set all in OBs. Also included are five 480-32 magnetic coupler conversion units with instruction sheets factory sealed in packets, three 480-32 magnetic coupler conversion units without packets and an original box only for 356 -35 set of 2 trucks. The 3927-50 and factory sealed 480-32 packets are C10 and the 38-85 are C9-10. 399 Lionel postwar reproduction of the "Giants of the Rails" motorized Dealer Display that Lionel made during the 1950s in OB. Display has never been assembled, C10. 400 Neat Dorfan prewar narrow gauge red lithographed passenger set no. 200 in set box with original cardboard insert containing; no. 50 red-enameled die cast 0-4-0 electric powered steam loco, type I four wheel red and black tender and two 356 passenger cars. The loco has yellow die cast wheels and DORFAN embossed on cab sides under windows. The die cast body on the loco is solid and intact, which is unusual for Dorfan. The wheels on the passenger cars have some surface rust, rest of set is C7. The bottom of set box has no split corner. The top of the set box has four split corners. Both labels are intact with nice color graphics. The set box does have some tape residue. 401 Lionel prewar O gauge red and aluminum streamliner Lionel Jr. passenger set no. 1065E, circa 1935 containing; 1700E power car, 1701 coach and 1702 observation. This is the version with smooth sides and roof. The set is C4.
Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions March 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 402 Lionel prewar O gauge Tuscan passenger set no. 140W in individual OBs and set box containing; 224 black 2-6-2 steam loco with original cardboard insert, 2224W die cast tender with original cardboard insert, two 2642 Pullmans and a 2643 observation car. The cars have gray inserts and black journals. The set is C8. The loco OB is missing end flaps on one end. The tender OB has all flaps attached and the passenger OBs have all flaps attached and are missing two coupler flaps. The set box is split on one side and has some brown tape. The label is fully intact with some minor tape residue. 403 Lionel prewar O gauge passenger set no. 169 containing; 156X maroon New York Central Lines 0-4-0 electric loco, 610 Pullman and a 612 observation. The cars are dark green, have wood grain inserts and are lettered New York Central Lines. The loco is C4 and the cars are C5. 404 Ives prewar O gauge lithographed eight wheel freight cars including; 85829 red Erie boxcar with gray roof, two 65 N.Y.C. & H.R. yellow live stock cars, one with a dark gray roof and one with a light gray roof and a 67 red caboose with a gray roof. The cars are C4-5. 405 Ives prewar O gauge lithographed eight wheel freight cars including; 63 gray and red N.Y.C. & H.R. gravel car, 65 yellow N.Y.C. & H.R. live stock car with red roof, two 66 Standard Oil Co. tank cars, one orange and one dark gray and a 69 brown lumber car. Each tank car is missing a coupler. The cars are C4-5. 406 Hafner prewar O gauge 112 black cast iron 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco, C8. 407 Hafner Overland Flyer prewar O gauge three no. 88 four wheel green lithographed observation cars. All of the cars have black frames, two have green roofs and one has a black roof. All of the cars have gold trim, two have gold observation fences and trim and one has a yellow observation fence. The cars are are C5. 408 Hafner Overland Flyer prewar O gauge three no. 86 lithographed four wheel passenger cars; one all orange, one all green and one all blue. The cars have gold and black trim. The cars are C5. 409 Hafner Overland Flyer prewar O gauge two 86 lithographed four wheel passenger cars. One of the cars is yellow with gold trim, black roof and frame and the other car is red with gold trim, red roof and black frame. The cars are C5. 410 Hafner Overland Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed four wheel passenger cars; one blue Baltimore & Ohio and one maroon Pennsylvania Lines, both with black roofs and frames. The cars are C6. 411 Hafner Overland Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed Century of Progress passenger set including; a red 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco with nickel boiler front and band, lemon yellow/red tender, baggage, coach and observation. The cars are cream yellow and red. The loco and observation car are C4. The rest of the cars and the tender are C5-6. 412 Scarce Hafner Overland Flyer prewar O gauge lithographed 62425 boxcar that came with the Chicago World’s Fair freight set. The car is C5. 413 Hafner prewar O gauge 110 black cast iron 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco with a 1180 Chicago North Western Line tender. Also included is a 110 black cast iron 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco with a red 1190 Overland Flyer tender. Both locos and tenders are C5. 414 Hafner prewar O gauge 109 black cast iron 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco with a red 1190 Illinois Central tender that has gold trim. The loco and tender are C6. Also included is a 112 black cast iron 0-4-0 clockwork steam loco, C5. 415 Hafner Overland Flyer prewar O gauge tenders including; black 1181, red 1180 and a Southern Pacific 1180. The tenders are C5-6. 416 Hafner prewar O gauge three 1190 tenders including; black Pennsylvania Lines, black New York Central Lines and blue Overland Flyer. The tenders are C5. 417 Hafner prewar O gauge three black 1190 tenders including; Southern Pacific, Chicago North Western Line and Illinois Central. The tenders are C5-6. 418 Lionel prewar standard gauge 514 yellow boxcar with brown roof, nickel trim, plates and journals. The car is missing one brake wheel and one coupler is broken, otherwise car is C7.
