PANDEMIC
Being scared
makes me sick.
Being sick
makes me scared.
It is like living in a vicious circle.
I cannot stop thinking.
My mind returns to the same moment
of helplessness.
Where can I go from there?
Where to?
The only hope is it will go away.
I need to give myself time.
I need to accept hope as an option to heal.
Be positive.
Accept.
Enjoy.
Act.
CRUCIAL CONVERSATIONS
They bring awareness,
an awareness of being alive
even more
Being alive in the right place
at the right moment
feeling and understanding what matters
What are these crucial conversations?
They start when you don’t want to acknowledge basic
truths about you, life, others, the universe.
You think you know everything,
but still, you make mistakes and don’t know why you
are not happy and don’t know all the answers.
Letting go, listening,
hearing possible answers,
trusting your primordial gut
then everything, even for a moment,
becomes crystal clear.
Birds sing the same in Honduras, Mexico, Canada, Poland,
especially in the morning or
like now
before the rain.
They assure us the nature is still there.
Birds can find leaves and trees to hide,
the worms to eat,
places to sing,
audience to admire them.
We are their audience.
We are still here able to breathe polluted air of big cities.
Do all birds eat worms?
I need to check that on the internet.
However, Google will not be able to tell me for sure
how long the planet will last,
with birds, leaves, and trees, and us polluting everything.
I wonder.
