Welcome to the summer edition of our special offers brochure, packed with unmissable deals on our<br />
own premium brands and our partner suppliers.<br />
Since our last edition, we’ve successfully launched our new cask ale, Anthem. We’ve received some<br />
fantastic customer feedback so far, and I would encourage you to try this innovative new beer – it’s<br />
crafted with 100% British ingredients and well-positioned in the ‘golden ale’ bracket, which is the only<br />
area currently showing growth in cask.<br />
We’re excited to bring you a fantastic promotion on Anthem (see page 10) as well as Tribute (see page 11)<br />

How long have you worked at the<br />
brewery / in telesales?<br />
I’ve been working in telesales at St<br />
Austell Brewery for 15 years. After living in<br />
Buckinghamshire and holidaying in Cornwall<br />
for 30 years, I made the move down for a<br />
quieter way of life and the beautiful<br />
scenery here.<br />
How many customers do you handle<br />
daily / monthly?<br />
I handled 1,185 customers last month – and it’s<br />
not even the summer yet! That’s 220 calls<br />
each day.<br />
How many customers do you look after?<br />
I have 300 active customer accounts, with a<br />
regular call diary.<br />

What do you enjoy most about your job?<br />
My colleagues are fantastic people to work<br />
with, in every department. I have a great<br />
relationship with my customers too, with my<br />
longest customer having been with me for<br />
15 years.<br />
What is your favourite drink?<br />
It would have to be korev lager. Light, crisp,<br />
and refreshing!<br />
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not<br />
at work?<br />
I love to spend time with my family – my<br />
husband of 35 years, my two children, and<br />
three grandchildren.<br />
I recently attended the Brewing and Beer Brands Forum, where our Brewing Director, George Young,<br />
along with industry peers, spoke about some of the initiatives that our industry is working on as we<br />
continue to strive for a carbon-neutral future. It would therefore be remiss of me not to remind you that<br />
we are still working really hard to balance our exceptional service levels with our environmental impact.<br />
Our service charter is still Day One order capture for Day Two delivery. I would emphasise the importance<br />
of capturing the order by 5pm, which allows for vehicle utilisation and minimises the number of off-day<br />
deliveries, reducing our road miles significantly.<br />
