Jan took place on June 4th, at the Double
Tree by Hilton Hotel in Reading.
The event was hosted by Chief Rabban
Duane Dellecker. The Veterans Toast was
given by Scott Miller, PC and 1st Vice
Commander Ray Ayers introduced the
Past Commanders.
Music was provided by Billy Moyer
from Lodge No 549, Reading.

In case you haven’t heard, our 2nd Vice Commander Ray Kunkel, is on the mend following surgery. As
of the writing of this article (due date was July 10), last word I heard is that he is doing well and is home
recovering.
As this article is being written, we’re a few days away from our annual Family Picnic. The number
of reservations look pretty good. By the time you read this, the picnic will be history and, based on past
history, was a big success.
An important thing that needs your attention - We need someone to tow the trailer for the Fall MASA
parade in Virginia Beach. This requires, of course, towing it down on Sept. 8, towing it in the parade and
towing it home again on the 11th. Unfortunately, Pete won’t be attending MASA this year. He's been our
“go-to” guy each year. and deserves many “Thank You’s”. If you can help, contact our Commander, Fred
Olinick ASAP.
Another reminder regards to our bus trip to attend the 2023 Virginia International Tattoo in Norfolk
Virginia. Dates of that trip are April 21 & 22, 2023. You should have already received a flyer with the trip
information. An initial deposit is due by December 1. This trip is limited to 50 people and, simply by wordof-mouth,
we already have some reservations.
