COVID-19 IMPACT
The global COVID-19 pandemic continued to impact
Aeris operations and the broader Australian mining industry.
Throughout FY2022, Aeris operated under its COVID-19
Management Plan which was implemented shortly after
the start of the pandemic and continued to be regularly
reviewed and updated.
OVER THE COURSE OF FY2022 MEASURES INCLUDED:
Access to face masks and hand sanitiser
Limited employee travel
The COVID-19 Management Plan adheres to COVID-19
restrictions and advice provided by State and
Federal Governments and changes over time as
new restrictions and advice become available.
During the year, COVID-19 cases affected both Tritton and
Cracow Operations. Affected employees and contractors
either tested positive for the virus or were close contacts
and therefore required to isolate, reducing crew numbers
and impacting production and maintenance activities.
Limited access to operational sites
to essential personnel only
Adjusted work arrangements
for site and corporate teams
Increased communication
to our workforce and partners
