SWCSEF benefit concert series<br />
The South-Western City Schools<br />
Educational Foundation will host a benefit<br />
concert series. The first concert will feature<br />
the district’s honor choir and honor orchestra.<br />
It will start at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 at<br />
Central Crossing High School, 4500 Big<br />
Run South Road in Grove City. The second<br />
concert will feature the district’s honor<br />
band and the Grove City Community<br />
Winds. It will begin at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at<br />
Central Crossing High School. Tickets are<br />
$10 for adults and $5 for children and can<br />
be purchased at the door. Funds raised will<br />
be used for student scholarships and educational<br />

Library card discount at<br />
National Veterans Memorial<br />
Columbus Metropolitan Library has<br />
partnered with the National Veterans<br />
Memorial and Museum (NVMM) to offer<br />
library cardholders up to four admission<br />
tickets at a discounted rate of $11 each.<br />
Regular price of admission at NVMM is<br />
$18 for adults ages 18-64, $16 for seniors<br />
ages 65 and older, $13 for college students<br />
with ID, $11 for children ages 5-17 and free<br />
for children under age 5. Those who present<br />
their library cards (from any library<br />
system) at the ticket counter are eligible<br />
news and notes<br />
for the discount. The promotion, in honor of<br />
military veterans and Veterans Day, runs<br />
Nov. 1 through Dec. 31.<br />
The National Veterans Memorial and<br />
Museum takes visitors on a narrative journey<br />
telling individual stories and sharing<br />
experiences of veterans from all military<br />
branches throughout history. History is<br />
presented through a dynamic, participatory<br />
experience with photos, letters and personal<br />
effects, multi-media presentations<br />

Chamber Singers perform<br />
The Grove City Chamber Singers will<br />
present a holiday concert “Wonderful<br />
Peace,” at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Grove<br />
City United Methodist Church, 2684<br />
Columbus St. A variety of holiday music<br />
will be performed, and they will be joined<br />
by guest singers, the Reynoldsburg High<br />
School Chamber Singers. Doors open at 3<br />
p.m. and admission is free.<br />
