1 From Custom House Quay head east towards
the Maritime Museum along the road, cross the
first mini roundabout and follow Bar Road past

breathtaking views. Continuing along Castle Drive
you will come to Pendennis Point where you can
explore the headland and enjoy an ice cream.
From Pendennis Point you continue along
Castle Drive until you reach a fork. Bear right and
pick up Castle Hill which will take you back to the
roundabout next to Falmouth Docks.
6 From the roundabout follow your original track.
Optional: You can extend this walk by strolling
down the sea front to Gyllyngvase Beach.

2 Head down Arwenack Street to Custom
House Quay for great views across the harbour.
Ferry route
3 Continue your walk through the town with
its eclectic mix of shops and cafes before
reaching the Prince of Wales Pier. Here you’ll
find the Fal River Visitor Information Centre.
4 From here, stroll up to the Moor before
taking on the steps of Jacob’s Ladder. You can
head back down the steps once you get your
breath back or walk parallel to the harbour
before cutting back down to Arwenack Street.
